Happy with this machine. Bought as a scratch-n-dent replacement for the LG machine we had. This unit has a better track record by the reviews and looking to get a nice long life from it. Easy DIY install as a direct replacement of the other one. Heavy! 250+ lbs.

Great Washer. It's quiet, efficient and tech savvy

Amazing washer! Love how easy it is to use, the microban lining throughout gives me a little more peace of mind when it comes to the cleaning and maintenance of my washer. I pride myself on cleaning the mold from my washers (in the past), so this feature was huge for me! It’s quiet when it’s running. Definitely have recommended this to friends and family!

Love how quiet this is. Happy with the cleanliness of the clothes. Easy to understand features. Have had this machine a couple of weeks. So far so good.

We have only owned this washer for 3 weeks and we bought it primarily for the venting feature, which seems to work very well. The washer is very good at removing water from the clothes during the spin cycle. The only negative is that the tinting on the door actually makes it difficult to see through.

Replaced our 17 year old top loading Kenmore set with this and a matching dryer. We were hesitant of some other brands since family members had them and electronics would periodically go out. Did our research and went with GE. Much quieter and less water use than we were experiencing before, but more importantly our clothes are getting cleaner! With four kids we send quiet a few loads through per week and this set makes it (almost) a joy to do laundry!

Overall the washing machine is pretty good but I feel it has one fatal flaw. Basically, getting access to the pump filter to find lost objects or just clean it out weakens the seal on the gasket and eventually it will fail, causing your washer to just leak out water into your laundry room. To replace this gasket, you have to pay about $80 because they don’t sell you just the gasket, you have to replace the entire mechanism. Now I don’t even open that thing anymore to clean it because I don’t want to regularly spend $80 to replace a faulty seal. I’ve had the washing machine for about two years now. And this leaking problem started maybe 1.5 year in.

It’s been a beautiful experience to have such a nice washer that’s so efficient and quiet. Like all front loads, the door seal does require frequent cleaning but is not a deterrent.

This has more than met our expectations. The laundry comes out cleaner, and softer than our old top loader.

Does the job smooth silent and big enough to wash anything. Dont look for anything else go for this for price efficiency and quality.

We purchased the stackable washer and dryer from the store. The sales associate was really great! We had the set delivered and set up. It was a tight fit and I should have measured but the delivery guys got them in. They did accidently scratch the washer detergent drawer and they tried their best not too. We called customer service and they were great. We love the machines. the setting dial an the doors seems a little light and feel like they could break easily but I think that is for everything on the market now. I have to say, we really like our set. Not super loud, doesn't shake the house like our old ones did. The washer always smell great now that we have the fresh vent system and the wash seems to take half the time. my kiddo likes the wifi because the machine will tell our phones when the wash an dryer are done.

This was a 2023 Black Friday Purchase for our new house. Could not install it until floors were done in April. They delivered the wrong one, and we waited longer for correct one. From day one it smelled TOXIC…like burning plastic/tar with noxious fumes that would fill the laundry room and make my family and I feel sick when smelling that. It became even worse when using hot water…to the point of having to open the laundry room window and let it vent for 5 minutes before anyone could go in there. I tried to get a refund but the customer representatives at Best Buy said I was past my 60 day warranty period. They insisted it only lasted 60 days after purchase, but it is actually 60 days after install. They would not listen to me, and so I was forced to keep the washer. For 2 years I had to keep having them come out and try to “FIX” the washer, but the smell does not go away. Some washes are less smelly than others, but it never goes away. Added to this is that the washer tears, rips, puts holes in cloths. It also rips off drawstrings and buttons off jeans. It has DESTROYED 1/3 of my family’s cloths. I have some things that are over 30+ years old and never had any problems with washing them until putting them through this washer where they were destroyed. I have had several washers in my lifetime, including the next model up from this one, and this is the first washer I’ve seen to be an absolute NIGHTMARE. At this point I hate this washer with a passion and cannot wait to get rid of it. I’m also upset with Best Buy for gaslighting me through most of this experience. It wasnt until recently that they finally sent a geek squad person over who actually listened to, and tried to fix, the problems with this machine. Still, he has replaced lots of things on it several times, but has not figured out how to fix the problem. I DO NOT recommend this washer to anyone, and I do not recommend purchasing any major appliance from Best Buy either. Other big box stores will treat you a lot better and offer much better warranties than Best Buy. I only purchased from them to begin with because they had a better price on a washer and dryer set that I wanted for my new house. If only I had stayed with the other big box nationwise store I usually purchased appliances from, then I probably would not have gone through all this trouble. I speak from years of experience…been purchasing items from Best Buy since 1996. But, they have changed a lot over the last few years, and not for the better so far. I would rather purchase from the manufacturer instead of Best Buy. It’s been over 2 years since purchase, and now they say I can probably have a replacement or credit for the washer. In my opinion that is the least they can do, because it does not make up for gaslighting me, destroying my families cloths (which cost a lot of money), and exposing us all to noxious fumes that made us feel sick. It’s astonishing what they get away with. Don’t let it happen to you. Purchase your major appliances somewhere else.

So far the washer has performed great. This is larger than the old one which was 4.5 cu ft and it is much nicer. I didn't think the slightly larger size would make much difference but it really does.

Cleans well, quiet, conserves water, easy to use…all pluses.

I wouldn't say I love this washer but it gets the job done. I need to use fragrance-free soap due to skin allergies so when the clothes come out they don't smell clean - they don't smell like anything necessarily - so maybe that's a good thing? I don't notice the clothes dirty after they wash and I use the UltraFresh vent frequently to help prevent a mildew smell. I am anti-Samsung and LG so I'm hoping GE meets my expectations.
