Good quality washer. Easy set up after installation and since it’s front loading and easy to use even my 5 year old is learning to do his own laundry. Works well and generally pretty quiet through all the cycles. The loudest portion of the cycle is the initial part where it senses the load size and fills. Overall a great buy and fits my larger comforters etc.

This is an awesome washer, lots of features that I love. Wifi, detergent reservoir, time saver, fresh vent, just to name a few. Which is why I gave it more than one star. My biggest gripe, and it's a big one. It only lasted 3 years. on the last day it had so many error codes the service tech said it would be cheaper to buy a new one that it would be to repair this one. My fault for not getting an extended Warrenty. But for as much as I paid for it, and the brand. I would have thought it would have lasted longer. When it worked, it was wonderful. If you buy one, I'd suggest investing into an extended Warrenty. In shopping the different warranties, I did find that geek squad had a very competitive program compared to others.

A notable combination of capacity and value. Very well priced and so far highly capable machine. Replaces a top loader but has a very large load capacity. It has online app and functions begat we are still learning. On related the Best Buy delivery people were amazing on time, fast and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend this machine (and Best Buy too).

love it takes my king size comforter easily and cleans really well

i love the washer. initially the washer was making a hammer sound when water water was added to machine. My son goggle search the problem we bought the hammer eliminator and the problem was resolved. The hammer was due to my plumbing being somewhat older then the new wave washer technology. I love my GE washer and dryer!

We love the new washer. We do not recommend the Geek Squad for installation. They failed to do part of the installation (switching door opening). With the COVID requirements that we not be in the same room as the staff actually installing, we were not able to check what was/was not done. At the end, when we were allowed in the room, the washer was on and it was impossible to tell that the door had not been dealt with. We tried to get them back but their schedule did not permit it (even though I called within 10 minutes of their departure). The second scheduling was a bust because that group did not have the proper part to make the change. They ordered it and then the third try was planned. They were scheduled between 7-1. Then we got a phone call saying they would be here after 1 which was fine. Then at noon we got a call saying that they were ready for us. When I said we now had to get back home, they insisted that we reschedule. Geek Squad needs an overhaul.

I loved my last GE washer. It lasted over 16 years. Hard working and uncomplicated. This GE washer is not top of the line, but, it too, is a hard worker. Who need all those electronics. This one has just enough.

This washing machine took me about 3 times washing my clothes/towels to get used to it. Once I figured it out it was amazing!! Not only does it wash amazingly, but it gets so much water out of the clothes before going into the dryer!! If you are looking for a great looking and wonderful washing washer look no further!

This is an excellent washer.I like the smart features notification sent to mobile remainding the washing of cloths is over,damp cloth are in washing machine since 30 min.Ultra vent freshner system is also good preventing the mold and bad smell.Overall it exceeded my expectations.

Love it! Larger capacity, good cleaning options. Love the fresh vent system.

Washer and Dryer Combo purchased in February 2024 replacing a 18 year old combo that still functions properly. Within 6 months the dryer needed the entire drum replaced due to a crack, this was covered under the 3rd party warranty. Their response "it happens", drum replacement would have been$650 if out of warranty. Multiple attempts were made to pay for the extended service warranty however their website always crashed when processing payment. 1 month after the warranty expired, the washing machine now needed a new 'inverter board' running at about $250 for parts and service. While GE covered the repair "as a courtesy" it is ridiculous these $2k appliances breakdown within a few months considering this is a single household lightly using the appliances. Look into different brands if you can, these appliances look great and does work great...when it's working. Can't wait to see what repair comes in the next months. Glad I didn't get rid of my 18 year old appliances that still function perfectly and have had no prior repairs or issues.

My wife, who usually avoids the techie features, really enjoys the mobile app letting her know the status of each load and can make changes/adjustments without having to go to the machine. However, this washing machine is much louder than previous machines. Loud enough that I downloaded an app to measure the decibels, which average 75dBA (similar to a vacuum cleaner) during the spin cycle. I haven't measured the levels when the washer is filling, as we noticed that was also louder than expected. My wife has said she feels this washer is doing a better job cleaning our clothes than our previous washer.

Not a five star review but only because I can't predict longevity. Appreciate the UltraFresh Vent System. Do not like that my replaced Samsung Front Loader's stand does not accommodate the GE product measurements and is therefore useless.
