We're glad you reached out. To help with this issue, please run a Self-Clean cycle by selecting the Self Clean feature on the control panel. The Self Clean cycle should be performed, at a minimum, once per month or about every 30-40 wash cycles. Before starting the Self Clean cycle, you'll need to pour one cup or 250 ml of liquid bleach or other washing machine cleaner into the basket. It's recommended to run a Rinse & Spin or a light color load after the Self Clean cycle. If the issue continues, please take advantage of the one year warranty by scheduling a service appointment for one of our Bodewell technicians to assess your unit. We're sorry to hear you're experiencing a leak from your washer, and we'd like to help. Page 31 of the Use and Care Manual provides some helpful troubleshooting tips in the "Not draining" and "Leaking water" sections. We're confident one of our skilled technicians will be able to assist you further, if needed.

We know an issue with your washer not functioning properly must be concerning, and we want to help. If the washer isn’t working at all, you may want to check the fuse/circuit breaker to ensure there’s no issue. You can also try disconnecting the unit from power for a couple of minutes before reconnecting; this resets the electrical components and can often resolve an issue. If it may be helpful, troubleshooting tips for your model are available starting on page 31 of the manual; that can be viewed on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product page. If you’re not able to resolve the concern with troubleshooting and think service may be needed, that department can be reached at 833-426-3393. A technician would be glad to examine the washer.
