Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We purchased a GE gfw650spn4sn in May of 2023. The basket bearings have already failed and GE will not warranty. They claim that the bearings are only guaranteed to last 12 months. $1,000 down the drain.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this washer for 1 year and 4 months and it will not drain out the water. It is out of warranty so I've had to pay to replace the drain pump and the inverter board and it still isn't working.

The worst purchase I've ever made

Despite the "ultra fresh vent" it smells so bad like mildew even after cleaning it over and over again. The detergent dispenser is somehow getting a yellow stain all over my clothes during every wash.

Posted .Oh no! We're surprised to hear that you are having problems with your front load washer. We can see how this is unexpected and am sorry for the frustrations that this has caused. After the wash cycle is completed and the clothes unloaded, select ULTRAFRESH VENT™ to help eliminate the excess moisture in your washer. It is also recommended to rinse the washer at least once per month with 1 cup of bleach poured directly into the basket without clothes and using the Self Clean Cycle. If you are still having problems with a smell, even after using the self clean cycle with bleach, please contact us on social media. Thanks. -Arnesha@GEA

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We have had the GE Ultrafresh for only two years and it now needs a New motherboard. GE repair came out, as we have an extended warranty. They did not have a motherboard on their truck and no one else locally has it in stock either. So it is going to take weeks for a repair. The ultrafresh also does not do a great job of preventing the musty smell. We regularly clean the drain and it still smells. Would not buy again. Several appliance repair people i have spoken with say to stay away from GE as they are no longer a good product.
