Customers are saying
Customers often highlight the product's excellent cleaning performance, low noise level, and ease of use, frequently praising its good load capacity and the UltraFresh Vent System. The exceptional spin cycle is also a positive point, though some customers have raised concerns regarding its reliability, citing issues like draining problems, and a musty smell. Additionally, its higher price, heavy weight, and occasional cosmetic issues like scratches on the door have been noted as drawbacks.

Excellent machine
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just received it a few weeks ago so this is only immediate perception. Incredibly quiet. Generous space so no issue with fitting my comforter. Medium spin speed gets so much water out of my fabrics that my dryer time and air dry time is noticably shorter. I think my fabrics will hold up longer. The negative I have is that the rubber gasket is soft enough that dog hair, etc won't easily wipe off. It's almost impossible to get it off so far. Also, the units is large and incredible heavy. The installers were amazing and were able to get the machine in my basement, but I don't think that unit is coming back out!

Awesome washer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this machine after Seeing one at work. It looked like a quality machine and we were in the market to replace the dying washer we had. I was a bit nervous about the front loader because they are known to get oders in them. This machine has a venting system that dries the inside. So far no oders. The capacity of this washer is huge. It cleans the laundry and spins all loads to a damp dry. I love this washer.

Great washer.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't have anything bad to say about this washer in how it functions. The app that reminds you to get your clothes out of the wash is amazing. The knob functions/wash cycles are really easy to use. It's relatively quiet. It seems like they put a lot of thought into the seal and vent system. It fits a comforter & a couple of small clothes in one cycle. I haven't had any trouble fitting loads into it and everything comes out clean. (We've had this washer for about a month now)

High Quality and Efficient
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely love this washer. I can wash a large amount of clothing, towels, blankets, and various other larger items. It has a bulk setting that I use regularly that will readjust the washer if the load is a bit too bulky. I have used this washer for a good amount of time now and it still works flawlessly. The only warning I have is that this washer is extremely heavy and difficult to install yourself. I almost died getting it up the stairs with my husband, my life had flashed before my eyes... Anyway, make sure you either get two strong people or have someone else install it.

Good washer, bad installers.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this washer for a couple of reasons. First, because of the Microban material used in several areas of the washer. After a several years of use on my previous washer, I noticed mold or mildew forming on the gasket and possibly in other non visible areas of the washer. Microban is supposed to eliminate the mold/mildew formation. Second, it's made in the USA. By no means it's a second grade washer. My spouse said it's quieter than our previous washer that we had for nearly 14 years. Now here's the bad think. I bought this from Best Buy because I want delivery and install. This washer is heavy and I don't see myself doing everything from hauling away the old washer and installing the new one. I used Best Buy to install large TVs in my company offices throughout the country and they've always done a very good job. On delivery day, two young gentlemen showed up early morning, removed the old washer, installed the new washer and hooked up water and drain hoses. I trusted them as I believe they installed hundreds of washers and dryers. A couple of days later, I found the washer moving a few inches away from its supposed location in the garage. After inspection, I found that the leveling feet are missing. The washer is shaking a lot during rinsing and that's the reason why it moved. I watched the youtube video and sure enough the leveling feet are missing. I contacted GE and provided the model and serial number to get replacement leveling feet but no response from GE. Best Buy said they used a third party for delivery/install and I didn't get the names of the two guys who did the job. To sum up, I like the washer but not very happy with the installers.

Awesome Washer
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very spacious and it doesn't make noise during the spin cycle nor does it wobble. Clothes come out pretty dry because the spin cycle does a very good job. The vent feature works well. I previously owned a Samsung. This machine does a much better job.

Salesperson Recommendation
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a salesperson recommendation and I'm glad we decided to try it. We had good experience with G.E. kitchen appliances in the past. The washer has good cycle choices we like including all types of fabric, you can also choose your water temperature as well as the cycle spin speed. And it has an extra rinse cycle! It has cleaned everything quite well- no need to launder a second time. On capacity: I prefer to do small to medium loads but when we did need a heavier load, it did great. It is rather noisy. We liked to do a load at night but the laundry room is too close to the bedroom. It is fine during the day. Plus, it really has a good look! Yes, I recommend this product.

UltraFresh Vent is really nice!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our laundry room is somewhat compact so having to have the door propped open is less than ideal. The ultrafresh vent feature is really nice and when it's complete it does have a dry interior. That said, it is still probably best practice to leave the door propped open in some form to allow for airflow. After having the unit for ~3 months we noticed a slight mildew scent and ran a bleach cycle which cleaned it all out, so always stay on top of the cleaning cycles. The detergent tray does trap a LOT of water and you will need to remove and dump after use so that it doesn't get gross. Otherwise the unit is extremely quiet. We obsessed over balancing it, which was no small feat.

5 stars so far, really nice washer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have had the washer for a month so far and absolutely noting bad to say about it. Like the various settings and how you can customize them to your tastes. Its big, washing comforters (so much bigger than the one it replaced) with no problem, this also reduces the total number of loads on washday. We had our old Bosch for 17 years, it was a good one and I was looking for another, but they don't really sell larger capacity ones in the states any longer...so, after much research we got the GE. One thing the Bosch was great at was getting the clothes really dry in the spin. My mothers upright seems to struggle with that even on the highest spin setting. No problems here, the GE is just as good as the Bosh...if not better (maybe a bit noiser)...saving time in the dryer. The other thing I like better on the GE....the detergent drawer...well laid out and pulling it out from the machine means your not occasionally getting errant detergent on top of the washer...mixed with water that stuffs corrosive....an issue with the Bosch. Overall, really please with the purchase, seems to be of good quality...I hope it lasts as long as my last one...time will tell. Also, no issues with Best Buy on the purchase, delivered exactly when they said it would be and no damage at all, can't comment on any install as I did that part myself.

Great GE washer from Best Buy
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This front-load washer is excellent. It's not the largest washer you can get, but that's a good thing. It operates well, quietly, and efficiently. The clothes come out clean and spun to the specified amount. Best of all, the internal cleaning system controls odors extremely well.

An Excellent Up to Date Machine
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This machine went in my Beach house on the second floor laundry room. The noise/vibration is minimum. I appreciate the UltraFresh Vent System for keeping the unit from developing smells or mold. This is a real issue in the coastal humidity zone. We’ve had this machine for about 4 months now and have really put it through it’s paces. The washer does a great job on whites. It’s quiet and fast.

Excellent Front Loader!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were hesitant to get a front loading set but we love these! Haven’t had any issues so far with function or odor. Once a month I run washing machine cleaning powder through it and clean the drain out. The one negative we’ve had, if you call it that, is that the washer struggles to balance while spinning if you try to wash a single item that holds water (like a sweater or small blanket). The solution I found was to do a spin only cycle and wring out the item as much as possible. This has only happened twice but I can understand how it can struggle to balance with one heavier clothing item.

Excellent washer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. How much can I tell you I love this washer? The vent keeps all mold from growing, the drain is easiest ever to clean out, the soap drawer slides so easy to take out and clean. I love this washer! Large capacity for my huge California King comforter.

More bells and whistles than we really need
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great as expected. No problems with smells after a year. Strange to get used to a locking door (first front loader for me). WiFi connection seemed like a gimmick at best. However, it actually has been nice getting alerts that it is done.

Excellent washer!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We've only had this washer for a little less than a month, but are pleased with the results. Clothes are fresh and clean. The spin cycle is amazing at getting the excess water out. Compared to the LG we had prior, it is a little bit louder--but the washing results more than make up for it. Great capacity.
