We bought this washing machine two years ago and yesterday we were told it’s unfixable. It stopped working six weeks ago.

It was great when I initially purchased now it leaks everywhere. I wish it was better quality for long term use in home!

3/5 stars because the detergent dispenser continues to leak onto my tile, the unit is supposed to be replaced soon.

In general, we have loved this machine. Unfortunately, less than 2 years in the drain pump has failed. GE customer service was polite, but could not offer any help as the 10 year warranty is on the motor only. Disappointed to say the least.

The absolute best washer I’ve had! Clothes come out super clean, not smelly and wrinkles are very minimal! I love that I can pour in and leave it for awhile and it reminds me to fill it back up! The vent is amazing for no mold/smelly issues. When this one breaks, I will be buying another!

Only negative is that it shakes...quite a bit. Works really well though. Not sure if it's supposed to shake so much. Clothes come out clean and dry. We have ours on the pedestal, so maybe that's why it shakes so much? It's really big. Makes a lot of noise.

I did my homework and read the reviews on this GE washer. It replaced my Samsung top washer which I only had for almost 2 years. It didn't last long. I wanted to go back to GE and I'm so glad I did. I've had this for a week and half now. LOVE how I can do a quick wash and my clothes come out clean. The socks came out white washing in cold water! In reading the reviews people were upset and wondered why the washer is made in China. I googled it and found out GE was bought in 2016 by Haier from China.

My daughter loves her efficiency washer. The fresh vent is a wonderful feature. This washer holds a lot if clothes and is very quite.

Looks nice, does a great job washing, the smart detergent dispenser is nice, is somewhat louder than the 15 year old LG that it replaced. The drum drying feature works very well.

Great product my wife is extremely happy with her new washer! Works way better than previous ones!

First of all, the build quality and performance of the washer and dryer pair are very good. We are satisfied with the value for the money. However, given the cost of the washer, there is something to consider before you buy it. We did our research and were aware that front-loaders are notorious for odor. This is in large part why we chose the model with the "UltraFresh Vent" feature. There are two downsides to mention. One, it is recommended to leave the door and liquids drawer open when not in use to reduce mildew. This poses problems by introducing the opportunity for passers-by to break the drawer and small children or pets to climb in. Secondly, we wipe dry the liquids drawer and the door seal after use. It would seem that stretching and distorting the rubber seal would accelerate wear and lead to a leak. Also, keep in mind that if you use the UltraFresh Vent cycle it will run for 8 hours. The bottom line is that the washer is worth the money if you are willing to deal with drying it by hand and keeping it open while not in use. The remote app, SmartHQ, leaves a bit to be desired. Its only value is in getting notifications of cycle status. The app limits you to one user. For example, I connected the app on my phone to the washer and dryer. Set up was not terrible, but could be simplified. After adding them to the app on my wife's phone, they were removed from mine. All-in-all, the wifi features are a novelty, so it's not something we considered as important in making the purchase.

It’s been a great washer so far, when it spins....sometimes it spins the clothes so slow that they are sopping wet at the end of the cycle. I will have it set on max or high spin, but it goes very slow until the end...not sure what’s up. May need a tech come check it out...

We bought the the washer about a month ago and so far it has been really good. The wifi option is really nice and helps getting more laundry done. Normal cycles complete in about 50 minutes.

I very much liked this GE washer, until it failed 3 years after I bought it. It started making a loud grinding noise while running. The service tech told me it's the bearings and the cost to repair is the same as the replacement cost. So here I am, buying a new washer again just 3 years later.

great machine, lots of buttons to pick from if it breaks, just buy a new one, save your heart attack trying to get service and parts that don't exist anymore

Do not buy any GE appliance that has the Smart App. In order to use the wifi features you need to set your router to the least possible security setting. For me it was “none.” If don’t care, these as they are, are decent products.

We bought this and measured but ended up having to return for top loader due to our laundry room. Make sure to measure really well
