I hate that these sites always ask you to review a product when you've only had it a couple of weeks. I've had this for 2 years. When it needed its first major repair, it was *just* out of the one year warranty. I had to replace the motor that drains the washer. That was $300. Now, just under two years since I bought it, the main control board has failed - meaning it won't even turn on. It's a total loss, because the board is on severe backorder and replacing it costs more than the used machine is worth ($600). I've been warned never to buy a GE washer again, and I'm definitely taking that to heart.

Do Not But This Washer!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.There is a reason this washer is on clearance, poor quality and design. I previously had a Maytag Epic Z front load washer. I had the Maytag for over 12 years and didn't have any issues until year 12 when I had to change the water pump. We've had the new GE Washer for only 2 years and it will no longer dispense the fabric softner. It took 5 phone calls before I could even get a customer service agent on the phone and they wouldn't cover the $300 in parts under warranty that was needed to fix the issue. A cheap poorly designed water valve and the entire smart dispenser draw and the housing it slides into. They don't sell you the dispenser drawer by itself which contains a valve that is not longer functioning, so you have to purchase the entire assembly which costs over $175. I will never again purchase any GE appliances due to poor customer service and warranty issues.

Did I buy a LEMON?????!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.There is no way on this green earth, I should be waiting to have my dryer repair when I just bought it on 9/11/21 UNBELIEVABLE!!!! It sounds like it wants to start but doesn’t. It looks like I bought a lemon. I sure hope the washer doesn’t decide it wants to stop working as well. Very disappointed in this product!

Very disappointing
