    This stove is the third of four appliances that are redoing my girlfriend's kitchen. So you already know the color, and of course it matches her microwave and dishwasher. She is happy with the features, especially the center burner/griddle. Now she's saving for the refrigerator!

    Possible Explosion Hazard. Do not buy!

    Purchased this Range 2-2022. By may I was having problems with the oven smelling like constant gas even when it was not being used, calls my gas company and they came out and confirmed that the gas was confirming from the stove being off. Because of the this lingering gas the oven would cause a miniature explosion when the flame ignites, would sound like a bomb going off. This is my second stove, first one was heavily damaged. Called Best Buy, there has been a repair guy out to my home 4 times and they refuse to replace it knowing that it was a safety issue. The repair guys act like we are crazy and they don’t smell gas. Best Buy lies about their policy, they will leave you stranded and keep trying to fix it as long as they can keep replacing parts. GE has never come out, Best Buy hasn’t replaced the stove since it was damaged. I have been feeding my family every way I know possible minus having home cooked meals. Very frustrating and a waste of $900 even with their electronics warranty.

    I ordered this stove on December 12, 2024, and was given a pickup date of December 19, 2024. At 6:09 p.m. on the 19th I received a message saying it was delayed. I called the store and was told it was the manufacturers fault, and the new pickup date would be December 24th. I called today to check the status and found out it wouldn't be available until mid-January. Home Depot and Lowes have this in stock, so I canceled the order and bought it from them. Very disappointed with Best Buy.

    Loved until it started falling apart in pieces

    We purchased and installed the GE - 5.0 Cu. Ft. Freestanding Gas Range - Stainless steel. We did not purchase an extended warranty because we had never had experience with an oven that did not make it through at least 5 years. 6 months after the one-year manufacturer's warranty expired we are now dealing with a trim piece pealing away creating a sharp safety hazard for our toddler and now the insulation within the oven door is falling all over the place. I have had a great deal of experience with appliances over the years and never experienced such failure so soon. We are so extremely disappointed with GEs quality measures. Loved the appliance until it started falling apart in literal pieces.

    The day my gas range was delivered, it broke. The stove did not work. The burners are working, thank God for that. At least I an cook

    If you can’t stand the heat …

    We’ve had our new range for about 3 weeks, and we are happy with everything except the amount of HEAT generated by the oven. It billows out of the vents and makes using the burners at the same time quite uncomfortable! The control knobs are very warm as well - not too hot to handle, but very warm. When I called GE, I was told this was normal for this model, and to set the temperatures lower when using the oven!! We’ll give it some more time, but I’m not sure this will work long term, sad to say.

    Poor customer service. I've had this stove for weeks and it's still not installed. I've asked for a hard copy of my invoices to be mailed to me showing all my charges involving my fridge and stove and have received nothing.

    JUNK!!! First time using it, it was tripping the breaker and then sparked. It is on its own breaker and we have never had issues with our old stove plugged in to that outlet, we know it’s not our electrical, it was the stoves board malfunctioning. Extremely disappointed.
