Its worried us every time we turned it on. We got rid of the oven and swapped it for a better oven this week.

Posted .We are sorry this model didn't meet your expectations. It is normal for the cooktop to be hot when you are cooking inside the oven. This is especially true if you have been baking or broiling for an extended period of time. On Freestanding Gas Ranges, the oven is usually vented up through the backsplash and heat from the oven is directed downward toward the cooktop so we do recommend that you use the vent fan above to help vent and cool the cooktop. This new stove boiled a pot of water in under 5 minutes. Can you believe it? Then I cooked enchiladas in the oven and they came out perfect. I did a lot of research and this stove got the best ratings from a number of websites so it's not just best buy customers that love it. BEST buy also had the best price. Delivery and installation was pain free. So if you need a new stove, this is the one
