Love it! Been using for about a month now. Easy to understand functions. We leave the door ajar after a cycle even though it’s not necessary, better safe than sorry. Highly recommend the pedestals, no more squatting down!

This is my first front loader. I've used them in the past during travel or at friends. I've always shied away from front loads because of the mold and horror stories of repair issues. After doing some research, this washer seemed to have checked off a lot of boxes so I figured I'd give it a shot. The UltraFresh feature is great! We run it at night after all the loads and in the morning, the unit is completely dry. The smart dispense works as advertised... It's one of those features I didn't think I'd need in life but it's one less step I appreciate. All our everyday clothes come out clean and smelling fresh which we were loving for the first few weeks until we gave it a challenge.... If you live an active lifestyle or have kids that get into dirt or mud, this washer isn't for you. We had gone on a hike and it got really muddy. Came home and tossed all our mud-covered clothes into it. Set the washer for "POWER CLEAN" + PreWash + Extra Rinse knowing that this would be a tough load for the washer. Well... It failed to clean it. Ultimately, we had to run the washer 3 extra times using all of those + settings which took 2 hours each... that's 6 hours! Our old top load would have had no problems getting all the sand out of the fabric on its first try. After watching the washer do its thing off and on for 6 hours, I noticed it uses very little water. I understand that this is a characteristic of front loads and it's a selling point to conserve but other front loads I've used in the past have a "more water" feature. I looked in the owner's manual to see if I was missing something but it seems like they pulled the "more water" feature off this unit. It's available on their GFW550 & GFW510 where it adds 3 extra gallons to the wash. On the GFW850 & GFW650 the more water is replaced with time saver. There is already a quick wash mode on the dial but they pulled more water to add time saver to the panel of options. So, if you have an active lifestyle or even maybe a mechanic or have kids that get dirty, this isn't the washer for you. I really wish this was a 5-star washer for me.

Our daughter had previously purchased one and raved about it. Decided to try our first front load. Love the size of drum. Nothing we haven’t been able to fit in there yet. Strongly recommend.

Purchasing the washer was an easy point/click process. Was able to choose a convenient delivery time after placing the order. The drop was confirmed the night before and the delivery personnel confirmed they were coming an hour before they arrived. Had an issue with our plumbing that was not Bestbuy's fault so we had to reschedule the hookup. Even that process was quick and easy. The gentleman who hooked up the washer were quick, neat, and efficient. They might have been here about 15 minutes. They were also extremely pleasant to deal with. The whole process was easy and painless.

I was shopping around for a new washer went to many stores and saw different models I did my homework I checked reviews and I decided to go with the LG that I bought are the extra features are great capacity of the loans are excellent I don’t know I made the right decision to go with this washer

Love it. So far it's been a good washer. It replaced my samsung which went bad. Like: 1.) Smart features like notifications through wifi and to track your usage. 2.) upgrade firmware through app. 3.) like the automatic soap dispenser. Eliminates detergent spills and makes doing the laundry faster. 4.) Not the largest , but its second largest drum size at 5 Cu.ft capacity. 5.) Ultra fresh venting to dry up the drum. 6.) Very clean washing for regular clothes. Havenot tried heavy soiled clothes. no-likes: 1.)Ultra fresh venting to dry up the drum. I think this is added as an afterthought for drying up the water that stays back after the cycle. 2.) The detergent area and drum has lot of water after each cycle. 3.) The water pressure from the intake pipes make a very hard sound. 4.) Compared to Samsung washers, GE is loud and noisy. You can feel the vibration from different part of the house. Overall very good washer. Thanks GE.

Unbelievably wonderful experience. I have never had a washer and dryer that cleaned so well. Also, the load capacity is terrific. The installation was professional as well. Best Buy is terrific!

We love it! Great functions and the fresh vent system is excellent. Our last front-loader was impossible to keep from getting stinky v=but it is so easy to keep the flaps dry and clean!! Love it.

Love this set (got matching set), the smart phone control and monitoring and all the options it gives you are great and it is very quiet

Everything- its large and holds so much, automatic soap dispenser, all the settings to clean like I want - automatic ventilation. Perfect!

Works great so far no complaints so hopefully it stays that way I’ve only had it for a month

Love this washer, Best Buy I could ever make and it is worth the price!

It has been very loud, does not always start when I press start, and shakes like crazy causing it to move in laundry room. Only part that works perfect is the ultra vent to prevent molding

Easy to use. Dries quickly. The only complaint is the notification is so low (yes, we've adjusted it to it's loudest) we cannot hear it in the next room even tho there is no other noise in the house.

I purchased this machine after having a Whirlpool for the past 20 plus years. I'm excited by the new features that the machine has available.

5 stars are not enough for this washer/dryer combo! It’s great. It’s quiet, washes and dries everything perfectly and its super easy to use. It’s a little “techy” , which always scares me…but it’s done so well! I’m able to wash our heaviest queen sized down comforter FAR easier than in my previous machine. It does, sometimes get buched up and needs a little re-arranging for an extra spjn cycle- but thats not a big deal to me. I love this set! LOVE IT!

We purchased this and the matching dryer. It was a replacement for a Samsung Bespoken set that was junk. The washer is fine. It does the job. The dryer needs to be improved. First it’s expensive so it shouldn’t be so loud. The lint trapped needs fixed. First make the holes bigger so it can actually suck in the lint. Plus the lint trap feels cheap and flimsy. That was the best thing about the Samsung dryer. Overall I would recommend them but I also only had them for 2 days.

incredible machine, this washer works with all of the modern smart phone features and wash dry bulk loads

Purchased as a set. Large capacity. Love the light inside. Lots of bells and whistles. Cant wait to use all functions.
