I installed this with a line laser. These are stacked and are absolutely perfectly level and this shakes a lot and makes a ton of noise. Very disappointed atter spending so much money.

Just started using them but they look and work great

I have to say I'm kind of disappointed. Bought this set in Dec of 2023. Here we are May of 2025 and I'm having what appear to be control board issues. The door wont open at times (not drain related) and currently the unit wont start a new load, it just cuts off.. Tech will be out in a few days so I will have an update but i have to say I'm quite disappointed that I'm having issues so soon, The 10 year warranty plastered on the front applies to the motor only...

Avoid This Washer & Dryer Combo! We purchased the GE 5.0 Cu. Ft. High-Efficiency Stackable Smart Front Load Washer and its matching dryer in November 2023, and it was a huge disappointment from the start. Washing performance: Clothes never felt truly clean, even after a full cycle. To get somewhat decent results, we had to run a pre-wash, making each load take around two hours—far from efficient. Drying issues: The dryer, even on the "most dry" setting, left clothes damp, requiring multiple cycles to finish the job. The worst part? By February 2024, the washer completely broke down. Fortunately, our Best Buy warranty kicked in, but after multiple repair attempts, they couldn’t fix it and ultimately gave us store credit—for the washer only. Now, we’re forced to replace both appliances since we refuse to buy another GE washer, which means our GE dryer is useless too. I’m selling a $1,000 dryer for $100 on Facebook Marketplace—if that tells you anything about its value. When shopping for a replacement, I met another frustrated GE owner at Best Buy who had the same experience—his washer broke after just two years, and the repair cost wasn’t worth it. Bottom line: Stay far away from GE washers and dryers. They are unreliable, inefficient, and simply not worth the money. Shame on you, GE.

My favorite two parts about this washer are being able to keep the door closed while not being used and having a 50-ounce storage capacity for liquid detergent. We use Persil instead of Tide for about the same cost, and everything comes out cleaner and smelling fresher without having to put "extras" in it for freshness.

Best washer that I have ever used. I love being notified via the app on my phone when the washer is almost done running. Also the feature where it can let the dryer know how long to run to dry what was just washed is awesome.

GE is a good brand and nowadays is probably the only few that is mainly made with made-in-USA parts. Almost 80% of the parts are made here, so the quality is there, plus the service is also pretty good. I have a newer GE refrigerator and no issues, but a 1-year-old Whirlpool was repaied 3 times.

If you are considering a front loading washer- spend the same money on whirlpool duet. I read all the reviews on this machine. How much different can this washer be compared all the others? It's so high efficiency it barely uses any water...read, it barely gets the clothes clean. I've learned now from countless YouTube videos how to manipulate the wash cycle in order to get somewhat clean clothes. I've literally tried most high efficiency laundry detergents, vinegar, baking soda, and the list goes on to keep my clothes from smelling. This has been this way since day one and when I called GE as well as Best Buy, I got the "call the manufacturer or call where you made the purchase to see if you can work something out". I've emailed and received no response. So this is my attempt to warn buyers that expect clean clothes, buy another brand. I've never had this much trouble with my Whirlpool Duet and never should have sold them when we moved. I bought the additional service package which only serves as a means to assure the product is "working properly".
