The lower end model has a feature to add more water this washer does not. I inquired with GE about the issue because my clothing is heavily soiled with oil and other lubricants due to my line of work. I have tried every wash option on the highest soil level and the only way to get clean clothes is to literally pour water into the drom during the wash cycle. PLEASE BE AWARE this unit does not have the handy water pressure adjustment that all other brands have, so you are literally stuck with damp washing cycles. I will also state that my previous 15 year old GE front load unit actually cleaned, I'm the one who decided i wanted something "smart" and "fancy" I understand the government reg blah blah but GE definitely could have given the user the pressure adjustment as a work around.

Runs great! Haven’t had any issues with it since installing.

The manual is useless when it comes to understanding how it functions and the custom settings. ( I continue to add more time to a wash and it does not work). I can’t tell how much detergent is dispensed on (more, less or auto) and it’s not listed in the manual. Delivery people came out 4 times and job was still not completed. I fell in a puddle of water b/c installation team forgot to put the drain hose where it belonged. They left out screws for the stack kit. No demonstration from none. They are the worse expect lies, inconvenience, and incompetence. I will never buy another appliance with BestBuy again better to go with the manufacturer. They’ve made a really horrible experience for me.

Very quiet and effective cleaner! Highly recommend for large loads and large households.

This washer is not impressive at all for the high cost of this washer I WOULD NOT waste my money on it. This washer is ALWAYS out of balance when doing a heavy load. It very rarely can properly complete a spin cycle, it just sits and slowly spins for 20 minutes and then clothes come out sopping wet. Having to constantly check your laundry to make sure they are spinning properly is beyond annoying. The "automatic" soap dispenser does absolutely nothing. We filled it uo when brand new and guess what? It is still full months later. This $1200 washing machine doesnt perform half as well as my old $500 top loader. Very dissapointed. Sure it has tons of cool features, but the one thing it is designed to do, wash clothes, it fails at.

Works well, but white paint of washer and dryer set does not match. Both white, just different shades of white. Was told dryer is made in USA and washer is made in China. Disappointing with mudroom remodel.

I love my New GE Saphire blue Washer. I love my set. I have got to say that Best Buy treated really well.i did have a very small Issue and they whatever it took to make it right. I would recommend that you make your purchase from them.

Nice washer, but working with Best Buy has been a nightmare. Much rather deal with Lowes or Home Depot next time - Only a 15 day return window for major appliances, but the washer kept tripping the GFCI outlet. Turns out there is a kit GE has to install - which they couldn't even do until 2 months after the purchase. If the GE kit didn't solve the issue, then you'd essentially be stuck with a lemon since Best Buy's return period ends. And then stuck with a non-matching dryer if you decide to go with another brand.
