My 13 year old LG front loader died and I needed a replacement. Although we loved our LG, we decided to research all that was out there since it had been 13 years since we’d looked at washers and dryers. We decided to go with the GE because of the vent technology. We’ve had it a few weeks and it exceeded our expectations.

What I like the most is that it can dispense detergent automatically. second is the ability to auto vent to prevent mold. which was a deal breaker from other brands. i am more than happy with my purchase and I hope this helps you on your desition making process.

The rear pedestal is not fully attached because there's nothing to screw the rear brackets into, because Best Buy's installation crew failed to properly attach the pedestal to the appliance. The washer vibrates quite a bit when spinning and isn't quiet. I do have to play around with trying to get it more level - it's close though and still has the noise and vibration issue. The features are nice, and it seems to work well and clean the clothes, which is the most important thing. I did reverse the door, and the included lockbar snapped during that process - I was then without a washer for a week and had to have replacement parts sent from GE. For these headaches, it's a bit overpriced.

Washing clothes has never been a easy task, but now with the Front load and on a pedestal, and with the large capacity, washing is now a quick and easy task. Wow. Awesome. Ready for the next load! It makes washing clothes a breeze and an easy task with our disabilities. (No bending or reaching-WOW.)
