Love the features of this washer, but after 18 months- out of 1 year warranty- this washer begin leaking from the FRONT of the unit and underneath, into the pedestal. The drain line is clear- it is the washer itself. I had a GE service call to repair, to which they said it was fine and just dont remove the drain trap, as the gasket must be the issue and charged me $120 for a service call. Ran a load after they left, and its still leaking everywhere. I am very mindful and careful with my appliances, and this durability and lack of customer care is appalling. My whirlpool lasted me 10 years- this unit can barely make it 18 months. Very unhappy. I thought the higher end price tag of this unit would guarantee quality. Boy! Was I wrong. Save your money and find a better brand.

This set is very attractive looking, especially in the Sapphire Blue color. Unfortunately, the washer I received was making very loud clanging noises as it was gearing up to spin. It also shook rather violently. I called and reported these issues and Best Buy replaced the washer and the new one had the same issues. I tried multiple loads, of all different sizes and they all had this loud clanging sound. I am returning this set. Every without the loud banging I feel that both the washer and dryer are louder than my old LG set.

Great washing machine. The wi-fi ability is epic. The ability to switch the direction of the door is very advantageous. Cleans clothes beautifully with many options. Great buy. Thank you Best Buy

The service was awesome! Had to replace deyer due to scratching on the glass door. GE products are awesome! But now or washer is making squeaky sounds when the drum spins.

Was looking at LG and Samsung until this GE unit came across. It has all the features we've been looking for and then some!

It's VERY loud, but not just the roar of the spin cycle, the high pitch whining sounded like a wind up toy trying to power a train, it literally scared my kid and my dog. I called BB to return / exchange but they send a technician out first. The technician said he had six calls just recently on this, and the replacements sound the same, that this is just how this unit sounds. Bought the washer and dryer on 11/1/23 and I had to have it returned 3+ times . This washer is very loud and it has a loud clunk sound it not to mention it bounces around . Full, small , towels. Delicate doesn’t matter it still makes all the loud noises and still bounces around. Now I’m deciding to return and buy a different machine but I want a matching set. My Kenmore was the best no loud noise , no bouncing around lasted 23 years now I got this GE and it’s awful

After getting it home and installed, I found several problems and have placed a service call. I was told they ran a test cycle at the warehouse to make sure it worked correctly. This could not have happened. It constantly leaks water inside, the rubber feet are almost ground off and damaged, the inner cleanout tube had gravel and dirt in it, plus hair and other debris , even grease , to be cleaned out. I am waiting over a week for a service call to get it repaired and inspected further. Exterior scratches, dents, and damage were much worse than I could see in the store. This appeared to be abused.

We replaced a samsung washer, and we should have done it sooner. I highly recommend this GE unit. Clothes wash nicely, and quickly. Unit is much more quiet. Front loader makes getting clothes out very easy. And this unit holds a lot of laundry. It handled a king comforter without issue. This washer has features that I didn't know I needed, and now I wonder how we did wash without them. This unit takes the guess work out of detergent. In fact its as simple as turning on, select cycle, and start. That's it. When the wash is finished, we receive phone notifications now, and alexa announces it to the entire house that the washer is done. And the air venting system helps to dry and clean the unit after a heavy day of laundry. To say I recommend this unit is an understatement. After less than a month of use, I can saftey say this washer has improved our laundry routine and saves us time and money.

This washing machine has met the needs of our large family. I made sure to really use this machine A LOT in the first two weeks we owned it because I was prepared to send it back if it didn't live up to my expectations. No return was necessary! I love this machine! I have two toddlers and three big kids. The toddlers usually end up with layers of food on their clothes by the end of the day but this machine can get them out. I have had to clean up several diaper blowouts and potty accidents since owning this machine and it could handle all of them--without having to run everything through the wash twice. I can run the machine on the "Normal" setting and everything comes out clean and smelling fresh the first time. I use the Smart Dispense feature, which is really handy for instructing the 10-year-old on how to run a load of laundry. All he has to do is turn the dial to "Normal" and press start. No over-measuring detergent or trying to rinse out the measuring cup. I am able to put my hand wash items into lingerie bags and run the "Delicate" cycle without any damage to my items. Even items washed in cold water come out completely clean almost every time. Only once have I had to wash something a second time, but it was a tricky stain and the fabric required cold water and a delicate cycle. I am also really pleased with how much laundry the machine can handle and still get everything clean. I am able to do laundry less frequently and run fewer loads because it can handle so much. I have not used any of the wireless features and do not really plan to, so I cannot speak to that. I run the UltraFresh Vent System when I am done with laundry for the day and the washer has remained mold- and odor-free. However, I always wipe down the gasket and door with a soft cloth before I run the vent cycle because I noticed that water would form a small puddle at the bottom of the gasket that would still be there when the vent cycle was done. When I do a quick once-over on the gasket and door before I run the vent cycle, everything is dry at the end. Overall, this was a great purchase that has made me look forward to laundry day!
