    Broken in 7 months

If you do not press time saver, your load could potentially take 2-3 hours and the estimated time it gives on time saver is never correct. It might say 35 minutes and actually take 1.5 hours. The spin cycle defaults to less than max on almost every program and it is insufficient. You have to chose max to get clothes dry and max spin cycle sounds like a twin engine jet taking off in your house. This machine is only 7 months old and treated very gently and already broke. Went to unload my clothes last night to find them in a puddle of water (about 4 gallons) and it won't start anymore. This was an average size load with lightweight clothing, so the load wasn't the issue. Also, I empty the excess water about every 2 weeks. Had to wring out 40 pieces of laundry by hand into a bucket and then scoop water out with a measuring cup to get it as dry as possible. Thankfully I purchased totaltech protection, but this is an absolute crock for something to be this expensive and faulty in less than a year. Waiting to see what the technician says, but my hopes are low now. GE is obviously not the quality now that its name was built on.

Best washer ever, each different cycle gets clothes to perfection, easy to keep clean and maintain. The auto dispence feature for the detergents makes it super easy to use.

Choose this model because of features not obtainable in other model and also recieved consistently high ratings. It has not disappointed us. Washes and rinses clothes throughly and it's quiet and completes cycles on time. Also it able to dry itself out when not in use.

I love this machine! It’s huge, holds a ton of laundry! I love that it’s connected to my phone and google home. Asking how much time is left and giving my phone a notification is great! I hated walking all the way down stairs to see the machine was still running.

Big drum in the dryer super quiet lots of features and also has a cycle that keeps the glue spinning. If you're not able to empty right away and you're notified on the app where the status of the dryer is in terms of minutes.

The GE washer is a great performer. Sleek appearance in the blue. The wifi connectivity is great since the washer is downstairs in the utility room. We get great notifications as the washing nears completion. The washer is very intuitive to operate. We plan to get the GE drier to match. Very impressed and fully recommended.

I have zero complaints about this washer. It’s absolutely the best washer Ive had. Washes well, and the spin cycle (which can seem loud at first, but you soon realize you don’t hear it if you aren’t listening for it. It only lasts about 30 seconds where it seems loud.) works so well with removing water that the marching dryer has zero problems drying a load with four pairs of jeans and numerous shirts in about 50 minutes. The venting system is what really makes this unit stand above any others as well. Absolutely zero funky smell.

I love this washer but here are my pros and cons for other buyers. Pros: efficient wash cycles, washes out stains really well, the fresh vent works well, numerous cycles for your needs. Cons: spin cycle is a bit loud(doesn’t bother me, I shut the laundry room door), the cycles do take longer but I’d rather my laundry be clean, clean than just slopped around, not a huge fan of the steam cycle. Not entirely sure how it works but I didn’t feel like it did much. Maybe I did it wrong, I don’t know. The buttons are super sensitive to touch. It doesn’t annoy me or anything but leaning against the machine will set the buttons off. Everything else I like. It’s a fantastic machine. Hoping to get many, many years of use from it!

I love my new GE - 5.0 Cu. Ft. High-Efficiency Stackable Smart Front Load Washer and Microban. It's a great size, not very loud, and the clothes come out very clean. The user design is really good: the opening is big enough so I don't hurt myself when putting the laundry in :)

Love it! But at the end of the day, it's just a washing machine. All it's fancy features - and I end up just shoving it full of stuff and putting it on a normal or bulky cycle. And so will you. It's not any louder or quieter than any other new machine. I think it's a smidge louder than my last GE top loader that was about 8 years old and was still going strong. I do love the auto-loading detergent tank but note that it uses way more detergent than just tossing in a pod or two in a normal load. I've had this for a month and have used nearly 128oz of detergent with it set on the Auto setting (there's a less and more setting as well). Now for the gritty part. The dreaded delivery. I've read several reviews that have given 1 star to the product because of the delivery and that's really unfair. I also thought that it was a rare case of delivery carelessness and that it wouldn't happen to me. Wrong. The delivery was the worst!! They left trash in the street in front of my home and a bag of parts which I collected. When I turned the water back on behind the washer, I got a nice soaking as did my wall and floor. That bag of parts I found at the street, that was the o-rings for all the hoses. They failed to put a single o-ring in any of the hoses which resulted in the aforementioned soaking. I have multiple hoses because my dryer is the steam version. So I o-ringed my hoses then went for the test cycle. Break tripped. Over and over again. I had to call an electrician to sort it out. None of that was the delivery teams fault. However, upon the initial test wash cycle, the machine walked all over my laundry room and managed to punch a hole in the wall behind the machine. This was because the delivery team failed to remove all the shipping braces off the back of the machine. And lastly, my dryer came with no documentation. No manual, no registration, nothing.

This washer has exceeded my expectations. The 5.0 cu ft size is perfect for queen sheets/comforters and bulky items. The ease of programming a wash is super easy and for items I need to "soak" there are selections that satisfy that compared to a top load option. Happy with the GE so far.

One of the best features of this washing machine is its automatic dispenser and I also like the Wi-Fi notifications that my clothes are done. It seems to clean OK and the cycle takes less time than my previous washing machine. There are lots of settings I haven't tried out yet. My only problem was when I purchased it I paid for delivery and set up and the delivery guys didn't switch the door to the other side like I wanted and took the special tool that was needed to do it on my own and I had to have Best Buy come back out and do it for me, which was quite an involved process.

Fresh Vent and Auto Dispense are great

I am approaching almost 2 years with this washer and it has been cleaning our wash with no issues so far. We are a family of 3 and it handles our wash loads effortlessly. We love the auto dispense and it has definitely saved us money on buying detergent. It is quite shocking how much extra detergent we were using compared to the auto dispense. We have a queen-sized, over-stuffed comforter and it is full with that in it, but it does wash it. The fresh vent feature runs for a long time and I fear that it will effect the reliability of the washer in the long-run, but it is so nice to be able to close the washer right after a wash. Our laundry room is cramped so any extra room is appreciated.

Ok so I have adhd, and doing laundry is the bane of my existence. I forget about the wet laundry and I also forget to air out the washer so that there isn’t mold and mildew. This washer notifies me when there 5 left to the load, when the load is done and when it’s been sitting for too long! And then it vents right after. I swear this washer made my life so much easier and it holds so much as well! I usually can get all my laundry done in one big load. Love love love
