Ugh, so disappointed!! After months of waiting for this item I was so excited for this set in this awesome blue color. After only 4 weeks of owning this when I went to to wash a load of bedding and it started out okay, after an hour i went to check the washer and it then showed it would take an additional 7 hours and 30 minutes. Even after powering off and turning it back on it then showed it would take over 9 hours to wash. Im going to have to call someone to come repair it as my matching dryer also started having issues already. After all the mess we went through having this delivered and installed by Best Buy originally I am dreading the mess that I'm sure I am about to have to deal with. If youre looking for a pretty washer and works some times okay, then this will work. But, if you want a brand new washer that works properly, maybe look elsewhere.

This GE is a very good washing machine. Designed for easy use and care.

We decided to return this washer after having it about 11-12 days. While I loved the concept, and it's certainly beautiful, it missed the mark on several major points. 1) My husband noticed that several of his softest shorts and shirts began to pill up after being run through this washer. This was never a problem in either our previous Whirlpool Duet front loader or even our Kenmore front loader that this replaced. 2) Way too much hair and dirt was left on the inside gasket after every single load. It really seemed like not enough water was circulating, as the clothes did not seem very clean at all. I somewhat overcame this during the short time we had the machine by manually choosing a pre-wash with every cycle, as well as an extra rinse. But what a pain. 3) The fresh hold / fresh spin option once a load is complete is setup completely backwards. You have to MANUALLY press the "start" button to get the vent to start. What if you aren't home? What if you want it to start automatically? Well, you can't. The instructions and the manual and advertising all make it sound like you can start the fresh hold / fresh spin option remotely from the App, but that is not possible. The only way around this is by choosing the overnight wash & dry cycle- but you are limited to only using loads with 3-4 pieces of clothing and it must run for 8 hours! Overall I wish the washing options and App would have been designed much better, especially as beautiful as the machine was and the fact that it uses Microban. But, I didn't want to risk kicking myself for not returning it if I was still unhappy a year or two from now.

Love the exterior color and the inside light. Looks sturdy and very modern.

Motor was bad at purchase but the GE 1 yr warranty covered all cost. It was loud like an airplane till it was repaired!

Great washer really love the automatic detergent dispenser. Clothes finish with almost no water after the spin.

I was hesitant about going with a front loading washer due to mold issues we had with our MayTag. But this washer lives up to the reviews. Love the smart functions and venting system. Highly recommend this washer and dryer set.

Love the unit, washes the clothes very well. And Spins them to where they're almost dry when they come out. You cannot go wrong buying this washer in my opinion.

It is one of the best purchases so far. Happy with the Item, happy with the color, with the working system. Excellent service, good delivery time, and helpful manual of instructions. I was in dilemma between the General electric brand and the Samsung brand. A friend recommended to me General Electric and I think I did a good choice so far.

I've had this washing machine for less than a month, but so far I am very pleased with it's design and performance. The Ultra Fresh Vent system works well; you just have to remember to push the button for it.
