Worst customer service representative at GE. I will never buy another GE product in my life.

I have to hand wring water from anything larger than a sock or it won’t balance. I have unplugged many times to reset. Not sure what to do but sell this problem to someone else and buy a washer that can actually handle a spin cycle. Note:I am a very handy person. Do most of my own repairs, I’m not person that gives up on a problem like this, unless I find out from GE, ( if they would answer an email) that there is a true issue with my machine, I guess I’m screwed.

GE does not care about you as a consumer if they did they wouldn't have me without a washing machine for 4 months. I have had multiple service calls. Had multiple parts replaced with brand new ones. Yet I'm still being told I have to have a tech come "look" at my machine again. When does it end and when will I be able to wash my clothes again? I bought this garbage brand new. Delivered and professionally installed. Since day 1 I've been able to complete 2 full loads of laundry and that's it. Please please please buy something else. My parents have an LG and it works like a charm. I only bought this machine because it was listed as a top rated top load from "big name" reporting companies. I failed myself by not reading actual reviews. If you look up reviews on this product you will find so many people have unreal horror stories about this product. Use a washboard and barrel of soapy water before you buy this crap.

Unit does not complete final spin
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The unit is great except for one downfall, and I will not purchase this product again, 95% of the time the unit will get out of balance, and to correct the problem one must remove all of the wet cloths from the washer and replace them in the tub evenly to get the last spin to work. The unit is 100% waste of money for this reason. I recommend never to purchase this unit, you will regret it. Wish I could return my unit.

Gets off balance often!

It can take me a whole day to get one load of clothes washed sometimes. I definitely do not recommend this washer!

Posted .Hi there - We are so sorry that your washer gets off balance easily and that it subsequently takes you a whole day sometimes to wash just one load of clothes. This is certainly not something we would expect from this unit and we can completely understand your frustration. When an out-of-balance condition is detected by the washer, the spin light will blink during the remaining portion of the cycle and will stay illuminated for a short time after cycle completion. When this occurs, the washer is taking actions to correct the out-of-balance condition and complete the cycle normally.
It's very important to choose the correct cycle for the type of items you're washing. BEST BUY IS GUILTY OF BAIT AND SWITCH!

GE may or may not make a good product, I don't know. The poor rating is for Best Buy. With many appliances nationwide on backorder, finding appliances available for quick delivery is not easy right now. I attempted to purchase this model mostly because Best Buy listed this model as in stock and available for delivery in 5 days. After the order was placed, the delivery date was cancelled. Turns out Best Buy never had this model in inventory, despite what is listed on the website. That is bait and switch and it is ILLEGAL! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM BEST BUY. DO NOT BELIEVE THAT YOU WILL GET YOUR APPLIANCE ON YOUR DELIVERY DATE. BEST BUY INTENTIONALLY MISLEADS CUSTOMERS. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND PURCHASE FROM A COMPANY THAT DOES NOT ENGAGE IN ILLEGAL PRACTICES.
