I would like to bring attention to the installers, who worked like a well oiled machine. They were very polite and efficient. The lead man on the delivery team explained everything to us and again was very knowledgeable of the product. A great experence.

2 Major GE Dryer Defects!

The first defect is the door handle was installed in the wrong place. The door catch is on the middle left edge of dryer, but the handle is located on the top left resulting in the door being hard to open and close. This eventually results in a warped door! The second major defect is that the dryer lint collection screen only collects about 10% of the lint, resulting in the dryer sending 90% of the lint through the exhaust tube and outside the house. I imagine that this will result in a clogged exhaust system, and many house fires in the future. The government should recall this dangerous dryer.

Basic And Durable

This unit reminds me of the dryer I had at my parent’s house, basic and durable. Time will tell. But, so far it is everything I had hoped for.

Also door opening sideways makes it easy to get things in and out of dryer. The dryer has a light inside to help see if you missed anything and the filter being in the door makes it easy to keep it clean.
