I wanted old fashion, non computerized equipment, to prevent costly repairs and frequent breakdowns. It is a little noisy but most washers were any way. For what I got and what I paid I am pleased with my purchase.

Only issue was it was graded wrong and had scratches, Best Buy took care of it very quickly, so ended up getting it a little cheaper. Very thankful because I drove 2 1/2 hrs to make sure I could complete my set and have it matching.

It works perfect and it does the job. My only complain is that it takes longer sometimes for things to dry like blankets or a big load.

After readjusting the load and lint catcher, opening and closing the door a few times the sound of the grinding noise was less but did not eliminated. The grinding noise is now intermittent, so sometimes the noise is light and other times non existent. I will exchange the dryer for the same model and see what happens. This machine is certainly not a machine that you can put your clothes in, set and forget. As far as drying is concerned the machine does a good job. So for that I'll upgrade my rating to fair.
