It doesn't keep going until you can get to it. The end buzzer is an all or nothing. Very loud or nothing at all, even tho the control is supposed to change the sound to different levels.

Posted .Hi - We really appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback on your GE dryer. Your insights after having using the product is very helpful. The extended tumble will run for approximately 15 minutes. This model does offer an adjustable signal that should provide 3 levels of sound - Loud, Med and Off. If you find no discernible difference between the Loud and Medium setting, you may wish to have GE service come out and check your dryer. Please call 1-800-432-2737 to schedule a service appointment.
