I love my new dryer……………………………………………………………………………..

I have only had this dryer for 2 months and it is already broken and not drying clothes. I purchased the Best Buy plan as well as the extended warranty plan and Since it was more than 60 days Best Buy would not replace the dryer so I was forced to use the manufacturers warranty and not the extended warranty I purchased. The manufacturer set me up with a repair company that has been totally unresponsive in answering the phone. I have been waiting almost 2 weeks with no one coming out to even look at the dryer. The warranty company stated that the service ticket shows the repair company ordered parts, but they can't see the parts that were ordered and the repair company is not returning their calls or emails either so they can't expedite the parts to fix my dryer. Now I have to wait to be assigned a new repair company and God only knows how long it will be before my dryer is fixed, because the warranty company stated some crazy policy that states they may have to get a second opinion on the repair even though they are the ones who choose the repair company. What sense does it make to have repair companies on your roster who you don't trust their opinion. Needless to say I am warning you to stay away from Best Buy appliances and GE products because they are both defective. Totally disgusted by this whole process and I will never purchase appliances at Best Buy again.

Absolutely let down by what was supposed to be a good dryer. Had problems with Samsung so we decided to go with an old school dryer without bells and whistles. Worked awesome for 1 month and just died. GE says you have to have 4 service calls before it is returnable. The companies they use drag their feet and show up every few weeks. On second visit, guy tells us it is dead. Not sure if two more visits will happen but sounds like GE wants to get them in. We are now on two months with no dryer and no resolution for a dryer that made it 30 days.

Thought if I purchased a bare bones no frills dryer I would not have any problems. Wrong..... Worked great and dried clothes fast for the first 2.5 months. Now it will not start. Even though I have Geek Squad protection for 24 months I am told I have to deal with the manufacture since it is still under their warranty. GE wants to charge me $125 just to come look at their defective dryer. Not happy.

So far so good…. So glad I purchased both washer and dryer.

The drying time is the best. Towels dry in one cycle

Dryer failed to start after three weeks. Called GE and described the symptoms, they said it was probably the "Start" button. They were sending a replacement that I could replace myself. Replaced the start mechanism and was able to start the dryer for a single load. The dryer failed to start again. Contacted Best Buy, they said the window for return is still open. So, I am taking it back.

Good, Basic machine. Does what I need it to do! I would recommend.

Great dryer. If you are trying to decide on which dryer to get; get this one. Highly recommend.

Excellent service and I loved my washer and dryer. I haven't had any problems with them.

The dryer was purchased off the Best Buy website. I was unable to view the dryer before purchasing because they did not have the dryer in stock at my store. I wanted a dryer without all the bells and whistles so I chose this GE model. The dryer was delivered and we set it up on the same day. I attempted to dry a medium load of towels (probably 5 towels). I checked the towels after 30 minutes and the towels actually felt very cool to touch and remained wet. I checked all the settings and found nothing amiss. I again attempted to dry the towels but they still remained wet and cool. I was disappointed in the quality of the dryer itself and how cheaply made the controls knobs were as well. The controls are made of plastic and do not look very sturdy. I do not recommend this product! I returned the item for a refund.

Execellent customer service…the girl that was at the owasso store went up and beyond to help us.. we will be back to that store when we need something else

The delivery was on time and they completed it I under 10 minutes.

I just purchased this dryer 2 months ago and I am already having issues. It does not want to start, which sucks.. especially after finishing a fresh load in the washer. It is nice because its not as modern... but honestly just get the updated ones, those truly make a difference.

Good so far, I have no complaints. It was easy to get a credit card with Best Buy to purchase this dryer, that's what I am really grateful for!

The new GE dryer is great. Not sure about the 120 foot venting, but it does send a lot of air through it and outside.

Had dryer delivered and installed. Everything went as anticipated and lived up to expectations.

Can't say enough about this dryer! Even some shirts I had that had permanent wrinkles in them come out wrinkle free!
