It does not want to start, which sucks.. especially after finishing a fresh load in the washer. It is nice because its not as modern... but honestly just get the updated ones, those truly make a difference.

Posted .If your dryer is not starting, first, make sure that the dryer plug wasn’t accidentally unplugged and that the plug is pushed completely into the outlet. It could be due to a blown fuse or circuit breaker tripped. Check the building’s fuse/circuit breaker box and replace both fuses or reset both breakers. NOTE: Some electric dryers use 2 fuses/breakers, make sure both are operating. If the issue persists, we recommend scheduling service online by visiting the GE Appliances website or by calling 833-4BODEWELL (833-426-3393) M-F 8AM-8PM ET, Sat-Sun: Closed. Lauren@GEAppliances

Called GE and described the symptoms, they said it was probably the "Start" button. They were sending a replacement that I could replace myself. Replaced the start mechanism and was able to start the dryer for a single load. The dryer failed to start again. Contacted Best Buy, they said the window for return is still open. So, I am taking it back.

Not easy when I work. He came and said the motor was not working. I had to go back to Best Buy and schedule a time for someone to now come pick up the broken dryer.

Posted .There are a few things we recommend trying that may resolve this: Check the installation instructions to make sure the dryer venting is correct. Make sure the ducting is clean, free of kinks and unobstructed. Also check to see if the outside wall damper operates easily. You can find a copy of the installation instructions on the website under features (page 11). It can also be the load size or the linter filter being full. You can also search an article about this on our website with the title "Dryer - Taking Too Long To Dry Clothes or Not Drying at All"

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I regret this more than anything I am now on my second huge repair on this machine The first month I had it the water pump went and it wouldn't drain it cost $359 to fix okay The second repair we are in now it's August I bought it in April It won't spin and guess what LG won't cover it! This is the worst I don't want this washer I have to buy a new washer I bought the washer then I paid for a huge repair now I'm going to have to buy another washer. What a nightmare thankfully they are class action suits in Massachusetts and guess what LG I'll be jumping on that! Unbelievable

BEST BUY TELLING ME I HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE MANUFACTURING WARRANTY TO HAVE IT FIXED. THIS PRODUCT IS TOO NEW TO HAVE ANY ISSUES.
