This dryer has already has shown to be better than my old Maytag. This dryer dries my clothes, sheets, and towels the first time. That was never the case with my Maytag.

so far this a good little machine only down fall is if you have a large load you may find your self needing to run it twice even though it is ment to hold a large load. the other thing is that the lent trap is some what small compared to other dryers I've had over the years I wouldn't doubt it if this had something to do with why it won't dry larger loads very well. I do really like that it has a bright light so you can see into it and that the alarm on it is plenty loud so that I can't mistake it if it is done or not

Very satisfied with our new electric dryer. This machine does it job! very simple and nothing is digital. More like the old school machined with the turning knob. Strongly recommend and the price is very affordable.

This weekend Saturday and Sunday 8/10 - 8/11 I used my new GE dryer and it's awesome! I had a problem with my previous dryer when it came to drying my sheets. Even though it was a big drum I had to put one sheet at a time because it would bunch up into a ball. I put up with this for 10 years. With the new dryer, it didn't happen. Also, my clothes came out with fewer wrinkles.

Used for about 2 months now, works great. Very quick dry time. The alarm when finished is very loud if you want to be able to hear it from other areas of the house, I turned it off because we don't need that alert. We were able to easily swap the direction the door opens also that it fits better in our area.

The dryer is good for getting lint and dust collected. I think the electrical cord should have been included in the price.

Great product only one issue is that it has an alarm when load is complete that cannot be turned off, sounds 3 times like a buzzer on a basketball game. Only issue, other than that it is a great dryer.

The product is good. Easy to load. The alarm is loud. The presets are user friendly. Not sure of the electric consumption yet but worth the cost.

My local store had more than several brands on the floor for comparison which was nice and helpful. Staff is much more helpful than big box stores. The sales associate was very knowledgeable about the product and made it easy to complete the purchase. The dryer came in a day early, and staff loaded it in my truck for me. It's a great machine! Very convenient and easy to use! 60 to 80 minutes work best for the dey time. After the dryer is finished there is usually hardly any lent on the lent screen most of the time.

We regret purchasing this Open Box GE Dryer from the Best Buy outlet store. This was several months after a highly satisfactory purchase of a damaged Open Box LG Dishwasher from the same Best Buy outlet store. It was less than two months before we could get everything ready and hooked up for use so we missed the the 14 day window to return the dryer. Little did we know this particular GE dryer was heavily damaged in unforeseen areas; damaged much more than was indicated by the sales staff and by the advertised "Best Buy Geek Squad" assigned "Open Box Condition" rating. The overall RATING was advertised as "GOOD" but it should've been "FAIR" (at best) and thus discounted even more, accordingly. WORKING CONDITION—"Geek Squad Verified"—should not have been advertised as "Fully Functional & Works Like New" because it clearly was/is not. As soon as we turned on the dryer for the first time it was obviously damaged internally. The turning drum makes a terrible grinding noise as it turns. The heavier the load is the louder and excruciating the metal on metal grinding noise is. We immediately contacted the Best Buy Geek Squad to schedule an in home repair appointment in a week. At this point we are hoping that Best Buy might offer us a credit on this purchase for a different dryer; maybe the Geek Squad will determine this dryer is irreparable as is.
