The lint trap simply put DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. ALL the lint simply goes out the back exhaust and is blown out of your building if your vent pipe is clear and gets stuck in the pipe if it isn't clear. I would not recommend this product to my worst enemy and it needs to be pulled from store shelves before it burns someone's home or business to the ground. In case the fire hazard wasn't enough of an issue the buzzer sounds continuously when the unit is in use. As an extra perk: GE customer care is impossible to actually reach. Buyer beware!

My previous smaller older dryer had more heat and dry the clothes 20mins quicker. Sometimes I need to cycle twice just to be sure clothes are dry otherwise it'll have that funky odor

Posted .Hello- We are sorry to hear you are having an issue with your dryer not heating well. We recommend making sure your venting isn't clogged. To check if your venting is clogged, start a timed dry on high heat. Go to the exhaust vent outside and use your hand to verify that the air is very warm and exiting at a decent flow. If there’s little airflow, your venting probably needs to be cleaned or replaced. If the temperature’s too low, there may be an operational issue with the dryer, which should be checked by an authorized service technician. It takes forever to get to a spin cycle and then doesn't spin anything and just drains the water, 3 times without washing anything my soap and water just empties and I get no spin cycle. It's s as if it were just asleep standing up.

Thermostat & both low and high ignites don't work. Contacted an appliance service company but replacement parts are not in yet. They indicated all parts should have been thoroughly checked by Best Buy before putting unit back on the floor for re-sale. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Will never buy from Best Buy again. I'm sure GE appliances are good products, but why was it not checked over when returned?

I specified that I needed a gas dryer with side ventilation/exhaust. Machine needed to be30 inches wide. I provided a GE model number. Today is Friday, October 16. Still waiting for a dryer that works. Initially provided wrong vent kit. Don’t know if this dryer works

The dryer tumbles but will not dry. Geek Squad has already said the dryer is bad, but they won’t exchange it and the manufacturer has been a nightmare to deal with. Do not buy this machine nor any other from Best Buy.

Great family dryer

Dryer clothes in nearly have the time that my old dryer did. Plenty of setting available for all sort of fabrics. Extremely happy with this purchase. I highly recommend it.

Waited over two and a half weeks and completely blown off by installation company not once but twice. Can’t express how angry and disappointed I am. I have complained to several people on phone and at the Boardman Ohio store only to be blown off again. HORRIBlE Best Buy

Within hours of the delivery guys living the agitator came off and was floating around. Nightmare of customer service when the units were picked up. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM BEST BUY! I went somewhere else and bought the Speed Queen set. So happy with them.

It was installed on may14,2020 today is June 1, 2020 and it is Not Workng! Don't waste your hard earned money on this gas dryer!
