Nice dryer, does what it’s supposed to do . Pretty large capacity. Very loud end of drying signal had to turn it way down.

The Dryer is very efficient. I like the various settings helping with each load that I can change according to load.

Clean lines, simple display, easy hookup, as advertised.

I bought this dryer in early September 2018. I initially loved it until I could smell gas when it was operating. Called GE (in itself a hassle). They said it must be my installation. They also told me smelling natural gas when operating a gas appliance is normal. I called gas company and was told that statement was absolutely untrue. I called my plumber and had them replace Best Buy installation at my expense. Was still smelling natural gas while in operation Called GE again and got different person who agreed to send a technician. I then discovered that GE has NO certified technicians in entire Pittsburgh area!!! They called someone in Ohio who refused to travel. They are supposed to be finding someone. In the meantime I decided to try it again and got a whiff of gas. Went to let my dog in and found an EXTREME smell of natural gas outside my home!!! This is where was gas dryer vents outside. I was panicked. This dryer is apparently leaking natural gas internally and venting it outside!!! Went to Best Buy and asked them to just take it back because it is dangerous. I lodged my first complaint with GE about a month after installation. They blamed installation (Best Buy). So there was a delay. Then there is no technician and another delay. Now Best Buy won’t take it back and I’ve only had it 4 months! Don’t bother with big box stores; no customer service. And GE also because they can’t live up to the warranty.

Broke in 2 years, never dried fully. Took 1 hour for small loads. Don’t buy this product!

We bought this dryer brand new last month. Its ok, but, it takes forever to dry things. Especially jeans and towels. And no it's not the hose. I have a brand new 4 foot holes and it's not kinked. Just takes so long to dry things. So far very unhappy customer. To be honest. I wish I would have bought a different dryer but I'm stuck with it now. Sadness. For this reason I cannot recommend it to anybody. I miss the days when a load would dry in 35 or 45 minutes. But now it takes at least an hour and a half to 2 hours on a good day.

I ordered the dryer online and received the email to let me know it was ready for pickup within a few days. We pulled up to the store and let them know we were there and they brought the dryer out in within 10 minutes. So far the dryer is working great. First dryer I ever owned with a light in it. Also the opening to put close in and take them out is large.

Today,after my 4th time using it, it stopped working.

Bad experience First time i used it didnt stop it worked all night long until was noticed in the morning manually stop it. The price i paid was not worth it compared with a new one.

I purchased this item in December 19 2020, a little over 2 years and it stopped working already.

It does not work after 1+ yr , called customr service who is saying that I need to pay $108 in service for diagnostic and repair .. I do not know why I bought GE in the first place, should have bought Samsung/or LG.

Dryer stopped working just after 1 1/2 years. Manufacturer warranty is only 1 year. Will never buy a GE appliance again.
