I can't give a better rating than average at this point because we haven't yet used the dryer. That said, it looks like a great appliance, and there aren't too many features to confuse you. Looking forward to trying it out!

Six weeks ago, I purchased this dryer, along with a matching washing machine. We set a delivery date two weeks later, that is, two weeks ago. When it was delivered, the dryer was dented and the washing machine wasn't even there. It took another two weeks to sort out the mess and finally get a washer/dryer combo installed. So in spite of having owned these machines for four weeks, I've only used them once. So it's hard to write a review! The controls look complex but when you get into using them it's not that hard. It seems to do the job well, we'll see how that goes. It feels sturdy, but again, only used once, so who knows?

Did I get a lemon or what? I can't believe this dryer has so many good reviews. I'm flabbergasted. This "energy saving" dryer is going to double my electric bill. It literally takes hours and hours to dry my normal load. Checked vents, read the manual, tried different settings. Nothing worked. It took me over 8 hours to dry one load of whites and one load of darks. Are you kidding me? Getting a refund as soon as I can. So disappointed. I researched weeks and weeks before going with this set. Couldn't be more disappointed. I was worried that I'd get a problematic washer. The washer's great. UGH!!!

There's a reason why this dryer is energy star certified because it dries your clothes the first time!, I returned my Maytag Bravo dryer because it took us two cycles to dry our clothes. It was a big waste of energy so I did some looking at other dryers and decided this energy star dryer was worth a try. I love it so far! It is compact and has a timer with pretty blue digital lights and settings for towels or jeans and even a mixed load setting. I wish I had bought this dryer the first time around but so glad I found a keeper!

Thinking this would be time and energy efficient, its a disappointment. Takes long to dry even the smallest of load

We are a family of five and need our appliances to work. I replaced a fifteen year old washer and dryer set, reviewing Carefully and selecting this dryer for the reviews. Well, two weeks into ownership, and the dryer heating element is bad. And Best Buy is going to take three weeks to get it replaced, after taking three weeks to deliver and install a defective unit!. I won't be recommending this product or this company to anyone.

Just over a year old and I’m calling for a repair already. My beautiful washer started “thumping” last night. Only 25 minutes waiting for tech support to answer, and they can’t even schedule a repair date until TWO WEEKS!!!!! I am not happy. I had a dryer for 25 years before buying this, and never had to call for a repair.

Dryer was purchased on April 2019 and on July 2019 the dryer didn't want to power on. Probably used it a dozen times. Unfortunately, I did not buy the Best Buy Extended Warranty so, now I am dealing with GE's warranty. The GE repair tech was more of a sales person. He was pushing us to buy their extended warranty and he hardly did any troubleshooting. He just tried to power on the dryer and blamed it on the control board. That control board has been back ordered now for some time and we are not expecting that part until September 16. We are expected to be out of a dryer for over a month and a half. I was very disappointed with GE, but after doing a Google Search, I found out that GE Appliances is owned by Haier group not General Electric.

Drys clothes well just certain material a lot of lit gets stuck to the clothes after drying

We bought this dryer to go with the washing machine. Washing machine is fine and has had no issues. We went through 2 dryers (same model) in less than 45 days before receiving this third unit. The first had a defective control unit and would only run one mode. The second blew up. There was a loud boom that we heard from the other room and when I approached the dryer there was a clear burning smell. Best Buy was fantastic about both incidents and this review is strictly regarding the dryer. Now this third dryer has “lived” over a year but we constantly have trouble. The two main complaints are premature shut offs before the loads are dry and poor design allows clothes to be caught on the inside lips which causes clothes to rip or tear. The rips and tears have cause me to write this review. I would not recommend this dryer.
