It dries clothes completely in the time indicated. I have had dryers that I have to put on 2 cycles to get the clothes properly dry. This one is excellent.

Almost immediately the drum started making noise. It took two repair trips and we were not offered a return. Now the panel may have stopped but again, a big pain getting a repair scheduled and $160 up front just to have some one come look at it. We cannot take time from work to manage something that should work out of the box.

It was making grinding noises and the inside drum light didn't come on. The second dryer works fine for now with no issues. However, I suspect there will be a manufacturer problem with the drum in the future.

It's not clear where one would get signaled with an alarm or if there is an alarm included. It is workable otherwise.

We recommend you check the venting on the back of the dryer and the vent cap on the outside of your home for any type of restriction or obstruction that would affect the dry performance. Also, you can adjust the volume of the end-of-cycle signal by pressing the Sound button on the control panel repeatedly until you reach the desired level. We also recommend turning the Eco dry off. The Owner's Manual is available online. Click on the Features tab and scroll to the end of the Features list to locate the link for the manual. If you have continued concerns regarding the dry performance, we recommend contacting our GE Appliances team of experts Bodewell at 1-833-4BODEWELL (833-426-3393) Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. ET to have your dryer evaluated and repaired as needed. -Vikki@GEAppliances

I like that the lint filter is inside the door instead of on top of the dryer. It has many options to choose for the drying cycles. Overall a good machine.
