    Purchased December 2023, thermostat broken November 2025, repair total cost $360.41. Did not purchase additional warranty. GE has in my opinion been the old reliable brand that should last a minimum of 10 years... The more bells and whistles with automatic sensors etc added the more chance of it breaking down. I would going forward purchase a basic dryer with turn knob settings.

    1st one broke and burnt the top panel after drying 5 loads. They brought a new one which has been good but the door is hard to open and close... On both of them

    Love that you can see into the dryer even when it's running. This dryer is fairly quiet and has many features to set to dry.

    Run quietly doesn't perform very well wouldn't recommend this product maybe there's a problem with the elements don't really know you know it takes a lot for me to drive my clothes
