Some were too dry and some were not dry enough. The door and closing latch/mechanism were not high quality. It was not heavy enough so it "walked" out of place during the drying cycles.

It came with the belt broken the first time, and as a result wouldn’t even turn. I had to have a second one dropped off, and after not one use it started making a screeching noise. Unfortunately I will likely have to get a different replacement.

Posted .We'd like to help out with the heat you are noticing on the exterior of your dryer. We recommend checking for proper ventilation and air flow. You will want to check the ductwork behind the unit for any obstructions or blockage. Also, make sure the outside wall cap is opening easily. To ensure your unit is operating efficiently, always make sure that the lint filter is cleaned before each cycle. They gave a BIG window for the delivery time, making it so I had to set aside most of my day to ensure I didn't miss it. When I got it hooked up, it didn't work... GE sent out a repair tech 4 days later. He got it working pretty quick. Now it works fine... I'll chalk that up to a random fluke in the product...
