    Very difficult to do the controls, and the glass gets extremely hot also has different sounds when in use. I sent back (2) dryers.

      We are sorry that the controls on this dryer haven't been user friendly. It is not abnormal for the front glass to become hot while the dryer is in use due to the heating elements and quick air flow in the drum. We have provided some normal and abnormal dryer sounds in the article "Dryer - Noises" on our GE Appliances website. If you are experiencing what is considered abnormal sounds with this washer, service is recommended.
