We did a lot of research before purchasing a dryer for our new home and this dryer came up again and again with high ratings. It does not disappoint. Fast, efficient and loaded with drying options. We could not be happier.

Works well the app has some issues but manageable. Drying works better if using recommend settings changing settings is possible in some modes but increases dry time

Context: We've only had this for a month. By getting this, the simplest model in the series, which saved hundreds of dollars by foregoing features that we do not value. We had to select "More Dry" to get things dry but it remembered our preference and defaults to that every time now. We LOVE the alerts on our phones and watches telling us when cycles are almost done, done, and have been waiting for a 1/2 hour or more. I suspect other 2023 brands might include that too, but it is SO helpful. Everyone wants a review during the "honeymoon" phase, but so far, so good. That said, these have a good reputation for holding up over time.

Purchase this dryer as a replacement. I have had it for approx 3 weeks. I can fit and dry 2 loads of towels at one time. Well worth the money.

Dryer works very well, and only in very, very large loads due I need a little bit longer. Appreciate the choices for loads, and have no concerns. Fits well on the pedestals.

Large drying drum and does a great job drying all different weight clothes.

Super quiet. Large capacity. Love this set. My last GE profile set lasted 15 years with no issues. I hope this set lasts the next 15.

I like the large capacity dryer. The lint screen is different than my previous dryer (its double wide) and folds in two. Takes a few seconds longer to clean because you have to open it up and then clean it.

The GE Model GFD55ESSNWW replaced my 20 year old dryer and I am glad I got this model. I've had it a little over a month and have tried all the settings except sanitize and dewrinkle so far. It is performing as expected. It has a basket type lint filter which seems to catch more lint than any previous filters. The app is also really nice. It tells me number of loads in last 30 and 90 days. I can also see estimated time remaining. It also sends an alert to my phone with 5 minutes to go, when done and 30 minutes after done if I forget to take the load out. Really nice! Now, I kind of wish I would have gotten the matching washer as well.

It drys your clothes in one dry you dont have to restart it back up again

This dryer can accommodate a larger load size and drys clothing very well! We have only had it for a week, but we are very pleased with it so far.
