We had to replace our dryer when we moved as the one we had was gas and the new house is electric. Did alot of research and GE was always on the top for relaibilty and servicing. We love this dryer, it dries a full load quickly and beats our gas dryer hands down.

This dryer is large enough to accommodate bed covers and the best part about it is the it very quiet while running.

These are good if you like front loaders, they are very low to the ground and in my opinion stacking them would make the dryer dials really high. I wish there was a light on the washer like the dryer it's very hard to see inside and make sure you got everything out. The dryer has a locking dryer lint that is a challenge to unlock. Also the start buttons are extremely sensitive to touch. On a positive note these are a perfect size, I am actually able to wash my king sized comforter. The air vent feature is nice on the washer. Clothes seem to dry pretty fast.

We replaced an older, smaller dryer with something larger and more fancy…well THAT dryer literally fried itself out in less than 5 months and was no longer in production either. This dryer was as close to the drum size as we could get, so I agreed to accept it as an exchange… turned out to be a great decision! This beast dries an entire load of towels in less than 30 minutes and looks fantastic while doing it. I have 8 kids so it runs constantly but finally the line to use it is a bit shorter because it’s so fast and spacious. We are very happy with this dryer.

Overall, we enjoy this dryer. It is super quiet, our laundy room can be seen from the living room and you cant hear the dryer running. Our old dryer at our old house was downstairs and you could hear everything. We enjoy having the wifi notifications when the cycle is almost complete and complete*this feature is wonky though, doesnt always work for some reason and its not our wifi but when it does it is awesome. My biggest complaint i have about this washer is that it takes forever to dry a load. When we first got it, the time on the cycle was about 75 minutes, its currently running close to 2 hours. On all previous dryers i had, i would just do a timed dry on high, had no issues. On this dryer, the timed dry doesnt give long enough choices to get my load dry so i have to use mixed loads setting and everytime i run it the time seems to get longer. Another slight annoyance is that sometimes ill start it and come back by a few minutes later and it has stopped running, no wifi notification or anything. I believe this might be because the on/off switch is super sensitive and i may have grazed it while moving stuff around after starting load. Overall, it does the job but is not perfect. The price has gone up $150 since we bought it, we'd probably have gone with another option we were looking at if it was the current price.
