    So far it has been a good dryer, Even though it doesn't dry king size blankets very well. When I got it , they said it would.

    This dryer works well on the timed settings, however doesn't work at all on the sensor dry settings. In fact, I'm beginning to think it doesn't have a sensor dry setting at all. My 12 year old builder grade Whirlpool has a sensor dry setting, so that when I select More Dry or set it on Jeans, everything in the dryer comes out as dry as the Sahara. It was GREAT!!!! This dryer has a multitude of settings. More Dry, Less Dry, Medium, High, Cotton, Towels, and on NONE of these settings will it actually get a comforter completely dry all the way through. The companion washing machine works great as far as I can tell. I do wish the dryer worked just as well.

While we're delighted to hear you're pleased with your new washer, we hate to hear you're not happy with the performance of your dryer. This model does indeed have a moisture sensor that should provide thorough drying for most loads. The goal is to lessen wear and tear on your clothing by terminating the cycle when the clothes have reached approximately 2% moisture retention. If you're having issues with damp loads particularly when using the "More Dry" setting, we recommend first checking to ensure you don't have a restriction or blockage in your vent connected to the dryer and the vent cap on the outside of your home.     Pacific Sales + Best Buy is Terrible combination

    By far the worst shopping experience my family has had. We’ve had a bad experience with Pacific Sales in the past and we thought to give them a second chance since they are part of BestBuy, but this time was not any better. In fact, now there are more layers of incompetent people involved in the purchasing process, so there is not accountability nor professionalism. The delivery was a completely different nightmare to go through, which how’s through another 3rd party company who have the most unreliable staff and system. We ended up cancelling our order twice and the third time went through Lowe’s, hog our price matched and received our appliances with no hassle in two days professionally installed and reliable thorough out the entire process.

    Broke within 12 months. Door code 92 all over the Internet. Stay away! Door jammed and cloths trapped inside.

    We have owned The dryer A couple of weeks. It is not drying the clothing well. I tried to call for repair service at Best buy where I purchased the dryer and nobody picks up the phone. When I tried to get it done online using the “chat“ nobody ever comes on the line to chat. It is frustrating and upsetting. I have to run the cycles twice to dry clothing... Even when set on high. It appears my husband and I will have to go back into Best Buy which is something we don’t appreciate especially during the pandemic.

    Great machine! Works well so far no issues and I have over 5 people using. I would recommend buying with pedestal depending on the space u have.

    The lint does not stay in the lint trap but fluffs all around the door. We have to clean with vacuum each load. While trouble shooting online I found many reviews with the same complaint. We will return this dryer.

    After raving reviews from a relative I purchased this dryer on 8/1 but I still have not been able to even turn it on. Initially, this unit was on back order and I received it the first week in September. No big deal, everything seems to be on back order these days. I install this thing the same day and when I go to use it later in the day, it has no power. Totally unresponsive when trying to press any buttons. After a lot of googling I reached out to GE and they sent out some guys to fix it. During the initial visit I was told that my board had power (green light on board was on) so the likely culprit was the thermostats. After some shipping mishaps, the parts were resent to me directly and an appointment was scheduled for repair. I saw light at the end of this long tunnel. But as fate would have it, after installing these new thermostats now the board has no power. It has now been a little over a week and I’m still waiting for a new board to show up. I don’t recommend this product. Most expensive paperweight I’ve ever purchased. TL:DR I purchased this thing 8/1. It arrived defective and it’s still broken.

    Motor starting making a humming sound after two years and is already dying. Product inly has a one year warranty for a reason, it’s junk.

    Nothing but problems, the first dryer i received was blowing totally cold air. I had that replaced a week later received a new one which worked for 2 weeks before blowing cold air also, had GE repair come out and the heating element was broken. He didnt have the part and have to wait a week for that. Terrible experience so far and scared to buy another GE product again, even though it used to be a quality brand.

    Not sure why our experience has been awful, but this lemon stopped working four months after it was delivered. Prior to that it wasn't great at getting things dry anyway, but four months in it stopped heating up completely. Not only was GE customer service atrocious and unhelpful during this process, they ultimately wouldn't help us. Wouldn't recommend this dryer, and ultimately I won't be purchasing GE products agian.

    Hands down THE WORST dryer I've ever experienced. First one replaced for never getting hot. Replacement (new) dryer NOW not getting hot either. Best Buy 'third party' installers a nightmare.
