They told me that they were going to notify Best Buy and replace. I have not received this pedestal as of yet. And it is indicating on my account that it was delivered. I tried to call Best Buy and no assistance as of yer.

I ordered them 10 months ago and I still don't have them. I did receive them in October (7 months later), but one was damaged. Since then, Best Buy has arranged 3 delivery dates to replace the damaged item but never showed up or called. Scheduled once more for a delivery and installation tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Do not use Geek Squad for install

Flooded my washing room and just transfers my phone call around with no one to help. Geek squad also crushed the dryer hose I had to purchase for the install as well. Just go to Home Depot or Lowes. Should have taken photos of all the water from the 2 times it’s flooded.

Pedestal does its job otherwise. My washer was delivered the day after I received the pedestal so I decided to keep it to avoid delaying installation of my washer. I will consider the damage probability for future orders.

Posted .Installing any of the front load laundry products on a riser requires the unit to be laid on it's back for assembly. This may require two people or you may wish to make arrangements for the installation with your dealer.

The whole purchase, delivery and installation scheduling process with BB has been a nightmare. Never again. The contract installers were very nice and did a good job.

The 7 inch riser raised the washer and dryer just enough so we weren’t bending over too far. We felt the pedestal were too tall so these were just right. They were also cheaper than from GE or the appliance store.

Many of our laundry units are compatible with either a riser or pedestal. If you were interested in a pedestal for your unit, you’re welcome to send us a private message over our GE Appliances social media (such as Facebook or Instagram) with the model number of your washer or dryer; we’d be glad to look into that for you.
