    Of all my smart lights, these GE bulbs stand head and shoulders above all the others I have bought. They always work and stay connected, which isn't always the case with others in my experience. They were also so simple to setup with my Google Home. No additional apps or anything needed just a direct connect. Easy!

    Great bulbs, that are relatively easy to setup and connect to smart home system such as Amazon Alexa. Occasionally have issues with the C by GE smart home skill for Alexa, and need to reset it. This is annoying, but because it’s software based it can improve.

    The lights illuminate, but that is not the only reason why I purchased these bulbs. I bought them because I want lights that I can control via Alexa. The packaging and adverts stated that they work with multiple external apps including the Alexa app. I found the connection process with the required application, C by GE, a daunting challenge. It appears that all the smart home products that I have purchased operate on the 2.4GHz WiFi and will not work with the 5GHz WiFi protocol. Another issue is with the lack of access the the bulbs MAC address. These were two problem areas as my WiFi router links the two frequencies (2.4 and 5 GHz) and the devices will not connect when the router is configured in this manner. Also, having to disable MAC authentication on my WiFi router, every time I want to connect one of these devices is unsatisfactory. In order to get these lights to work with Alexa, first you have to connect them to the C by GE app via the Wifi router. In order to this, I had to disable the WiFi "Total Control" protocol to allow the router to separate the 2.4GHz and 5GHz protocols and disable the MAC authentication. Disabling "Total Control" wasn't a big deal, but is a step that should not be require. Disabling the MAC authentication allows hackers to use brute force attacks to decipher passwords and break into my network without physical access to my router. Once the GE lights were connected, I had to document the MAC on the WiFi display (GUI), then activate the MAC once authentication was enabled. The longer MAC authentication is disabled, the greater the chance that hackers can gain access to the internal network. Back on topic, the lights work but were too difficult for me to connect to WiFi to justify purchasing more GE smart bulbs. A better purchase would be to buy the Alexa bulbs as the MAC address is included in the packaging. (I have two Alexa bulbs and eight GE bulbs). The eight GE bulbs are dimmable in the C by GE app, but not the Alexa app. The Alexa app wont allow me to place the GE bulbs in "rooms" and I cannot control the GE bulbs in the Alexa app the way I can control the Alexa lights. I do not expect that I will purchase the less expensive C by GE bulbs until they include the MAC address on the internal packaging and improve upon the way the devices interact with the Alexa app. I'm interested in seeing if people that use these GE bulbs with Google / Nest have the same issues as I did with Alexa.

    I’ve had one smart light before and I was looking to expand with more smart lights. I saw this deal and thought it was good price so I bought it. So far I have no complaints! The set up process was pretty straight forward and simple time, and they’re actually a bit smaller than the first one that I have which is nice.

    Oof. These were extremely difficult to connect (with or without Alexa). I finally got two of them to work and gave the other two away because when I got the third one to work, it erased everything. I was ready to not even bother connecting to Alexa, but she eventually found them. On the other hand, the dimmable feature is nice and I really enjoy the quality of the light. So, if you are up for a challenge and have an entire weekend, these are for you!

    Sometimes it will connect and sometimes it takes 3tries. When it is connected it’s great but really inconvenient when it won’t connect. I used to have it on my google device thing(forget what it’s called) but took it off because the google device started getting annoying and I had to reboot it almost everytime. I downloaded the Cync app and that was better but still had connection outages every once in a while but usually after 3 tries it would connect.

    These bulbs emit a nice tone of light, without breaking your wallet to get them. The hook up conveniently to my Google home and I can adjust them wirelessly in each room I have them set up. I need purchase a couple more of these so my entire home has them. I've shopped many of these and this was the best value by far.

    Great lights - they just do not connect with a hub system, but they connect directly to the Alexa devices. They are very easy to connect -but you do need to place them near an alexa system, not too far away to keep them functioning easily. There is an app just for the GE products, as well.

    These are a great alternative to the higher priced Phillips Hue. Some of the colors are not as rich, but when they are the only lights in the room there's no need to compare. These were very easy to program, add skills/scenes, and integrate into the Alexa software for ease of use/greater flexibility/options.

    I absolutely love these light bulbs. They were so easy to set up and use with Alexa. Now, I can tell Alexa to turn the lights on or off. Loving that part. I loved them so much that I bought me another set. My boyfriend got jealous so I bought him a set too. At a Deal of the Day price of $14.99, these were a steal.

    I bought this item for my elderly sister, and she loves being able to have her lights be turned off and on by voice commands. It is a lot safer for her.

    These smartbulbs is recommended for my google mini. The bilbs work, but will not stay paired. I have to reset everyday, which doesnt make the bulbs so smart

If you have already reset the bulbs before you should not have to repeat that what helps is to power down the Google device you are using to control your lights for 1 minute then power back up.
