  • Bulbs Seem OK, The App Not So Much

    I got these to use through the Google Assistant, and (for me) they work just fine. I set them up via the C by GE app and then added them to my Google Home; that all worked right. But ever since the initial setup, the app consistently shows one of the bulbs as "Unable to Connect", even though Google Assistant can control it without problems. I've checked some online tips on how to fix this, and (for me) they don't work. I don't care enough to work on it any more, but it seems to be a recurring problem that affects their bulbs. Also, the app has no way to keep me logged in, so you'll need to enter your login and password every time. 4 stars for the bulbs, 2 stars for the C by GE app.

    Bulbs work well, however the don't always seem to connect within the app. I would say 95% of the time they actually work with voice. You also can not control unless on site, the app needs work.

    C by ge works well when the website is online. The link to google / alexa goes down a few times per quarter, so reliability is not there right now. Other than that, it works well via their ap.
