    During set up I got the impression that it was necessary to buy an additional piece of equipment to complete installation, so I returned the bulbs. I was enticed by the very good price.

    Disappointed, They seemed to work great the first week. Set up scenes and automation. It was very cool. Then the those functions stopped a week later. Now I can only adjust each light individually. Plus Alexa never recognized C by GE .

    When the lights actually stay connected they're great to have. The problem is that they lose connectivity on a regular.

    Very inconsistent on when they decide to work. Connection with Google is not great and since they updated their platform I have not been able to get half of them to work.

    I bought these because they were recommended by the sales associate. I was told that they were right up there with the Phillips brand but I disagree. They’re pretty hard to set up and won’t stay connected to my smart device

    Not quite smart light bulbs. Other than Alexa and Google Assistant integration, they can't do much else. GE doesn't even have integration with IFTTT so other than voice commands, it's gonna be tough automating these bulbs.

    Wouldn't connect to Alexa, as advertised. I returned them frustrated with 2 hours of wasted effort to connect them through 3 different Apps.

    Followed the instructions but has an error connecting to Google Home. Will be returning because thats the only reason i bought them.

    Horrible. These lights seldom work correctly. The GE so can't even find them to set up. And there are so many issues once they are set up. Stay away!!

    Useless light bulbs.

    These have to be the worst light bulbs I have ever used. They frequently stop responding to input from Google Home or from my phone. I have to shut power off to ever bulb for several minutes to reset them. This happens multiple times a week now. Very frustrating, especially when this is supposed to make life easier, not force me to go from room to room and turn ever light in my apartment on and off. I'd rather sit in the dark than use these bulbs any more.

    Why do I have to reset so often?

    Price was good, bulbs were a little chore to set up. After about 2 weeks 1 bulb stopped working, tried the suggestions on line, no luck yet, I will get back to it later as now i have some paint to watch dry!

    One of the lights didn't work right out the box . Then another light stopped working 2 weeks later. The app keeps lagging. Extremely unsatisfied with GE quality

    These bulbs are supposed to allow dimming, but when I attempted to dim the lights, the bulbs flickered. I thought maybe it was a bad batch and returned them and tried another box, but had the same problem.

      Hi Jake, it sounds like you may have these connected to a dimmer switch. These lights are dimmable through the app and sometimes do not play nice with dimmer switches.     These are the worst light bulbs I have ever used. The wifi control worked for maybe 2 days. One stopped working all together. They are controlled by a dimmer switch and at anything less than around 70% power the flicker like a strobe light, which is awful. I got them as a deal with a smart clock and they are not even worth the couple dollars I spent on them. DO NOT BUY THESE.

    I’d love to be able to return these but I went pass the eligible date to return. The concept behind this product is good, however the issue with these bulbs is they just don’t get bright enough for me.

    One of the lights was defective and wouldn’t connect to the wifi like the other 3 lights would. And signal was lost a couple times even tho the router was right next to it.

    Dont think i will purchase another set of these bulbs. Not a easy set up at all. Timers dont work correctly on the app and half the time dont respond when told to turn on
