    I am a fan of these types of bulbs... I previously used the Philis ones but I needed a bridge to connect it... This technology doesn't need anything else. The communication is a little bit slower but still a good product.

    NOT easy to set up. I bought a dot and got 1 free light bulb (a different brand) with it. That bulb worked Great. Wanted more but bought this kind because they were cheaper. Says it doesn't need a hub, but it doesn't say that you DO need a "skill" to use with Alexa echo dot or show 8. You need to download "c by ge app", add to Alexa app & alexa devices and the app doesn't work, doesn't let you sign in, won't let you reset password etc. I'm very tech savvy and returning all 3 boxes of these that I bought. Already ordered more of the other kind.

    They stopped connecting to the app about two weeks after I started using them. They were fine at first and then stopped working altogether.

    Always disconnecting and hard to keep paired with Google home. I got them free when you purchase Google nest audio speakers.

    Need to be reset constantly

    Hit or miss whether or not they will work with your assistant. I believe it is these bulbs specifically and not due to my wifi or assistant as all other devices work consistently well, and these are the only devices that fail. Kasa bulbs and smart plugs/switches have worked better for me.

    Every few days the bulbs display "unresponsive". In this state, sometimes they work sometimes they don't. They are usually back to normal the next day but it's very annoying.

What I would suggest is to power off the lights at the switch for 30 seconds and then back on.     Difficult to pair with Alexa. Instructions direct you to the GE website where you will have to pay for direct connect features.

    These would not work with my Apple home kit like I hoped it would. Trying to get it to connect to the app is a joke.

    These bulbs crash constantly, the app freezes all the time. Constantly have to repair the bulbs. Have purchased $5 bulbs that work better than these

    These lights were difficult to connect to the separate app that you have to download and was not working with alexa dot. Had to return these unfortunately.

      Christian, sorry that you were not able to get these connected. There is a setup process to integrate these lights with Alexa, and that includes adding the lights into the C by GE app first and then enabling the C by GE skill in Alexa.     I bought 8 total bulbs. Only 5 of them continue to still work with my google home. No understanding as to why, but they wont reconnect to my google home.

    Setting this up was painful, one of the light bulbs didn’t work despite attempts to set up to factory which I wasn’t able to accomplish! It’s not smart at all

    These lightbulbs work fine. However, the app is awful and the integration is awful. It is no wonder they are always on sale.

    These came bundled with a Lenovo Google Smart Alarm Clock. I have no idea how these work and even if I had a clue what to do with them I don't really have any need to remotely turn on and off the light bulbs. These things are collecting dust and maybe I'll pawn them off on some other idiot on ebay. These were an actual waste of my time and money.

    I have not yet to link functionally with Alexa.The Phi;;ips Hue light bulb in comparison was much more user friendly but cost twice as much
