    I use this GE Smart plug to control my sprinkler system. Along with Alexa I can now use my voice and save a trip down to the basement to shut my old-school sprinkler system off when rain is predicted or when it is actively raining. This smart plug is very responsive and has successfully converted my dumb sprinkler system to a smart system.

    I bought it to child-proof my microwave that is installed in an island that my toddler can reach. Makes it easy to turn the microwave on when we need it, then off so my son can't mess with it. Outside of Google home occasionally thinking "turn on microwave" means "Turn on every single light in the house at 1AM while people are sleeping", I'm totally happy with it.
