    Doesnt work when youre not home

    I though i would be able to use this through the app while not home but it doesnt work. When i get out of my wifi zone it doesn’t communicate to the plug anymore.

    This plug works sporadically with Alex. Usually I have to manually turn it on thru the app. Never had a problem with other smart plug manufacturers.

    I bought one of these about a year ago, and until recently it had worked great. When I bought the new one, it told me I needed a hub to connect (it says on the box "No hub required"). I decided to return the 2nd one and look for a better option.

    Wouldn’t work properly with google home integration. Stay away from GE. I have used geeni in the past and never had any issues with them.

    Having trouble connecting with echo. Always needs to reset and reconnect with echo which is very troublesome because it takes so long to connect. Seems like it is not compatible with echo even though it says so.

    Got it on sale so really wanted to like it, but the integration with the app and with Alexa was lacking, so had to return it. It's a shame because the hardware seems solid.

    This decide is the worst. I purchase it with a gift certificate i had from Best Buy. It literally stopped working exactly 8 days after I got it. Garbage... Do not purchase!! Again, this is a terrible device.
