Very easy to setup to Google Assistant
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased and installed and connected to Google Assistant with no problem. As a previous reviewer noted, he had problems. The key is when you click the + symbol and then the "set up new devices", you then click on "Works with Goggle" and not "New Devices". It noted I had 3 bulbs C by GE bulbs. I clicked on it and it searched and found the C by GE Plug. It asked me to log into my C by GE account. This done, within 1 minute it was working on my Google Assistant. Works perfect.

Trying to get into the GE c smart products this was my first purchase so far works great have this on my Christmas tree and I have it integrated into my smart home

DO NOT BUY! TRASH DEVICE!

After initial difficulty I finally got It working. But that was short-lived. It will often not be available. After several weeks of working then not working, now it does not respond at all. If you buy this device you are merely making a donation!

If you notice you are only able to control your Plug from within 10 feet, your device may have disconnected from the internet. This can be resolved by reconnecting the device from the Cync App by going to Settings > Rooms and Devices > 'Room' > View Devices > Edit This Plug > Wi-Fi. From here you should be able to reconnect the device to your network. If you are still having an issue with this, please consider calling us at 1-844-302-2943, and our support team will be happy to help. - Cync Support
