Then 8 weeks. Then 6 weeks. It finally arrived super bowl Sunday. Box was trashed. Delivery guy was nice and opened it for me to check for damage. Did not see any, but he suggested plugging it in before installing. I did, and it does not work! "Door open" error message - only if I slam the door with 2 hands does it go out and the unit turn on. Disgusted with performance of Best Buy - they blamed GE for delivery delay and would not even entertain some resolution until it was delivered. Now I just want to go to Home Depot and buy the unit - at least they have it in stock!

Great Line of Appliances

The ordering process and delivery was smooth and simple. Better service than I have received working on similar purchases. The color is great. I love that the microwave has a mute feature for the keypad. Exactly what I hoped. Can't wait to get the rest of the items installed and working.

It replaces one of an almost identical size which fits in my kitchen cabinets perfectly. The controls are almost identical with my old microwave (also GE). In Additionally, it is much quieter that the microwave it replaces.

I returned it in the store and ordered a second. The second one arrived damaged as well. It would not fit into the trim kit due to damage. I returned it to the store and now I’m waiting on my third to arrive!
