Only issue I have is the key pad is not back lit and does not stand out well in lower ambient light.
We had the same microwave prior to this updated version and didn’t have this issue.
I do like that it’s quieter than the previous one.

I returned this item, not because of the quality of the item, but the information on the website. I wanted a built in microwave and it appeared in that filter. I was even encouraged to buy a trim kit for it, but this item is not designed to be built in.

I have purchased 2 of these in the last three years. The last one only lasted 5 months. I was trying to keep my kitchen set all GE Profile appliances. Don't buy the GE Profile microwave. Electronics in the product just die after very little use.

So Disappointed! We've only had this new microwave for a little over a month (installed 9/17/20) and there is a cut in the plastic on the "start button." No, we don't have anything in our hands when using the microwave that would cause this failure. We were replacing our 12 year old GE Monogram microwave which is no longer available. Hoping this issue can be resolved.

If you have not already done so, we recommend disconnecting the power to your microwave for 2-3 minutes to reset the electronics. Check to be sure you have a minimum of 3" of air clearance on each side and at the top of the unit as well as 1" air clearance in the rear. If the issues persist, please call 1-800-432-2737 to discuss your situation further. Please have your complete model and serial number available when you call.

If you find that your microwave door closes loudly or is harder to close than your previous model, the difference in the door noise is due to a firmer spring in the door latch; this is a normal condition for the microwave. 2nd time around. A litte different in size from previous one even though supposed to be same. Not a big deal. Just had to add a board to raise to correct height. Works good and is good size.

No compatible trim kit offered for this model. As the only GE Profile line of countertop microwave, no trim kit works to make it fit a 30" wall oven space.

Microwave looks nice in cabinets. The trim kit didn’t look as nice as old one so we used the brackets to new one & used exterior of old one. Good fit and good opurtunity to recycle.

The push button that opens the microwave feels like it will brake anytime very cheep. Wanted the same GE Profile microwave, but they don’t make it any longer, so this is what they suggested for replacement along with the trim kit because the old microwave was a different size. Let’s hope the push button continues to work.

Bought this unit from Best Buy without the protection plan. First strip on bottom broke. Couldn't get GE to fix it even under warranty time frame. Then fuse went out and finally unit stop working. Bought new Whirlpool microwave. GE products suck.....don't waste your money!

Don't like, noise, the button doesn't work part of the time, black interior with poor lighting. Ours is built-in so had to order a trim kit(was told the old kit would work)have not heard when the new one it will arrive. This unit was suppose to be a replacement, same size model etc.
