    I have used many brands of dishwashers. this is the worst. And I really like GE appliances. I am so disappointed.

    I gave it one star because I had to to be able to leave a review. Did not dry the dishes, so I used to dry boost. Still didn't dry the dishes. The dishes were also dirty, so I have to rewash! I should have kept my old ugly one.

    We returned the first one, then returned the second one. Geek Squad said “must have been a bad batch!” Still waiting for both refunds, not to mention tipping installers each time and then to finally remove.

    Failed after just over 3 years - not durable

    Washer has failed after 3 years. Purchased a 3 year warranty from Bestbuy and it failed about 3 months after the warranty expired. Repairman said it needed a new circuit board for $450. The door is also cheaply made. A plastic chrome trim piece at the top came off within the last year as well. Can't recommend this one.

    Fool me once, shame on you. Won't fool me twice.

    To its credit, I loved the quiet operation and the third rack was wonderful. I appreciated being able to raise and lower the middle rack and move the tines on the lower rack - with difficulty. The flatware basket was a total mess, in the wrong place and with plastic that became misshapen within the first month so the lid would fall forward until I placed a knife in the basket in position to hold it back. It worked for not quite 3 years. For $800 with installation, I would have expected a whole lot longer. After two years, it stopped staying put in its housing, so I assume the installation was lackluster, as well. Wouldn't get dishes dry unless I put it on the highest heat setting, Steam, which would cause my plastic food containers to melt. Would quickly develop a funk due to food caught in the "food filter," which is just a screen that catches bits. When they say it should be pulled and cleaned at least once weekly, they mean it! Overall, this is a piece of junk I spent a whole lot of money on. Now that it has sprung a leak less than 3 years in, I have discovered that not only has the machine been discontinued, but so have the replacement parts. WTG, GE! Never again. Fool me once, as they say, shame on you. GE, you used to be a good company with good products.

    Don't Buy This.

    We bought this machine in January 2020, as an upgrade, expecting it to last. It did not. We have had repair people out three times in two years, most recently for water leaking on the right side. We tried the youtube fix (clean the rubber seal), but it didn't work. Repairperson came and told us the cleaning mechanism was completely shot. He also let us know that this has two control panels, one on the bottom and one on the top, and that design makes it very susceptible to breakdowns. The fix would have cost near as much as the dishwasher. So we did what the repairperson told us: buy a Bosch with front controls, bc those will last 15 years, whereas GE, LG, etc, look fancy but are designed to fail.

    We had this dishwasher 2 1/2 years and we’re already having to buy a new dishwasher. It would not power on. We replaced multiple things and still couldn’t get it to power on.

    Stopped working just like that. Didnt use it for 2 weeks then it didnt work anymore. It wasnt cleaning enough, just basically making sounds like it is cleaning but once you open it, the soap is still in the slot.
