Customers are enthusiastic about this dishwasher's quiet operation and excellent cleaning performance, frequently praising its third rack and ease of use. Many appreciate the sleek design and innovative features, such as the bottle jets. However, some customers have reported issues with the dishwasher's reliability and door mechanism after a period of use.
Perfect dishwasher.... it cleans dishes very well. The jets for bottles/cups are a super convenient. The extra top rack is perfect for small things that would otherwise fall through the regular rack. The controls are on the top of the door when you open it so they are not in view when the door is closed. It's fingerprint resistant and perfect for a family with small children. Overall a great dishwasher.

Got this to replace an LG dishwasher in December of 2019, so while I'm glad that we got the failed before the pandemic hit us like a ton of bricks and we'd be home all the time with the kids and thus more dishes, I and am constantly reminded that this is an inferior appliance. If anything, I'll say that the dishwasher gets 0 stars and that the 1 star is in favor of the Best Buy rep working to get this appliance delivered as a previous dishwasher model was being delayed by manufacturing delays for a couple months and hadn't shipped (despite being "ready for delivery" 3 separate times, but that's a different issue). Physically, the door has begun to lean forward too far so the bottom tray no longer rolls out easily, and I'm not sure if this is a failure of the hinges or the open/close assist mechanism. Also, the plastic chrome trim on the left top of the control panel popped off and will not stay in place; attempts to re-secure it have failed. Finally, there was an issue with the install: the rubber seal on the right wasn't seated correctly and ended up being pinched by the door, which eventually lead to a leak. Had to use nails to secure the outside to the cabinet to keep it from folding back in and that side of the seal just needs to be replaced. To start the cleaning cycle, the door needs to be closed just-right; if you don't, it angrily beeps at you and you need to open the door, cancel the cycle and restart. This happens about every-other run of the dishwasher. The touch buttons don't always seem to accept input either, and my wife has issues sometimes getting it to register her fingers. In regards to cleaning, this dishwasher fails to clean dishes as well as the LG did; the dishwasher detergent and the dirtiness of the dishes being loaded hasn't changed. We're regularly having to hand clean a dish or two our of every load, and the larger casserole dishes (9x9, 13x9, or 8-in round) never come out clean. Aside from cleaning being an issue it doesn't seem to dry dishes as well as the LG either; the drying rack needs to be empty when the dishwasher is being emptied as there will be plenty of items that need to air dry. LG had the entire bottom rack able to fold down, but the half of the bottom tray that can fold down on this is the one for the plates; it should be the completely straight side so you can place a large dish face down next to the plates. Then again, it probably won't clean the large dish (see above). Also, the LG had part of the top rack able to fold down and this didn't. In fact, I don't recall very many of the models available having this functionality.

I have purchased a new GE dishwasher from Best Buy online (+$900). The home delivery was quick, and smooth, delivery crew dropped big box in my kitchen and left, all took about 5 min. I was wondering why they didn’t ask me to sign any papers, but since my name and address ware on a sticker, I didn’t ask. When I opened the box, the dishwasher looked great, protective foil at the front, on the panel, and lots of protective tapes, like on every new appliance. But when I opened the dishwasher …. Surprise…. Inside looks like the dishwasher was used for some time, scratches on the walls along the baskets’ wheels, stains, wear off seals, and dirty water inside the filter. When I removed the insulation fabric, which surprisingly just loosely lay on the dishwasher, I found out that someone was trying to fix leaking chamber, there was a lots of freshly applied sealant on all seams, the sealant job looks very sloppy. Best Buy sold me a refurbished appliance as a new one! It is a disaster! Very disappointed!
