Delivery and installation were a five week long nightmare. The local store tried but the kids told by the first delivery agent set up a real disappointment.

Died in under 2 Years, $1000+ to Fix

That's $300 a month for this piece of junk. Was using the microwave oven and the unit just died. Serviceperson said MULTIPLE panels burnt out so it would cost close to $1000 to fix. With no guarantee it won't happen again. Apparently a known issue with this top of the line oven

Microwave continues to not heat, repair tech fixes it and 6 months to a year later same issue. Very glad we got the geek squad repair service, it has more than paid for itself. Not Best Buy fault. This is a GE problem, very disappointing to pay this much only to have to continually repair.

New kitchen appliance

As of now we are looking at delivery of early June and no telling how much that might slide as we have already had our card charged for the total amount....and we specifically told them not to charge our card since we didn't know the delivery date. So far, not impressed, at all. And, no updates throughout.

Great reviews, but immediately disppointing.

Unfortunately, after the first use (3 minute broil), the oven began to pop loudly and shower sparks from within. Apparently shorted out and fried one or both coils. Awaiting a replacement. Very frustrating, but Best Buy Manager "Travis" was very supportive and did what he could to expedite the replacement. The jury is still out on the oven, but Travis and Best Buy still get the highest rating.

Looks good cosmetically, but microwave lacks power

However, flash forward over a year, and we find ourselves never using the microwave oven. Reason being, its lacks any significant power and takes forever to heat anything. We have a Panasonic countertop microwave which heats most anything piping hot in 3 minutes. The GE profile hardly gets anything warn in 3 minutes and takes more than double the time to get something hot. For the price, the microwave really sucks. Unlikely to buy the GE Profile brand again.

Posted .Hello Jazz01 - thank you for providing a review of your combination microwave/ wall oven. We're sorry it seems your microwave lacks power. It is a 1000 watt microwave so it should have as much power as other microwaves. Please check your microwave performance by following these steps: 1) Place a glass bowl (preferably a 2qt. Pyrex measuring bowl) with 1qt. of water in the center of the microwave cavity. The water must be 59-75 degrees Fahrenheit (15-24 degrees Celsius). Heat The water for exactly 2 minutes 30 seconds on High (this is the default setting). A temperature rise in the range of 28-40 degrees Fahrenheit (15-22 degrees Celsius) indicates that the oven is cooking properly. If this does not help, we recommend contacting GE Factory Service for assistance at 1-800-432-2737. Thanks for choosing GE Appliances and providing your feedback! NANCYatGEA
