Everything in the description is true to form. It does a great job on cleaning our clothes, the spin action is perfect, and having the low profile agitator prevents piling on the microfiber and fleece blankets I use for foster kitten bedding. It also does a great job on unbalanced loads. The sensor correction is perfect. I'm giving it a 5 star rating on price because I got it on sale.

Regarding the noise, you may want to make sure the unit is level to cut down on any extra vibration that may be adding to the noise level. We also have information on what noises the machine may make on page 28 of the manual, which you can view on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product page. The manual has details on setting up the WiFi connection on page 19 as well. Love all of the options and that the lid doesn’t lock immediately so I can add with ease. The dryer gets everything dry with one cycle.

I did not give it 5 stars for 2 reasons (1) the machine is very loud (2) there is no audio signal to alert you when the wash cycle is completed.

Could use an owner’s manual

I still have questions which I will research when I have time. The machine uses very little water so I am not clear how much detergent to use. It does seem to do get the clothes clean so all is well.

Posted .We know how useful a manual can be when you’re getting used to an appliance. We have the manual available on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product page. We do expect the washer to use less water than older models; the Department of Energy has changed their standards regarding allowable water usage over time, and our load sensing technology provides the optimum amount of water based on the load. The wash performance is not negatively impacted. The manual does discuss detergent, and we would recommend following the detergent manufacturer’s suggestion regarding the amount to use. If you have any other concerns or questions we're always glad to help, and we’re confident the washer will continue to perform well for you for years to come.

I would recommend it for every day use. not really for bathroom carpets.

Posted .We are happy to hear you love your washer. We understand the need to wash your rugs but don't recommend washing rugs that have a rubber backing on them. The rubber can get ripped and come off and clog the drain. If your rugs don't have a rubber back, we recommend adding a few towels with your rug to balance out the load.

Gets off balance easy & the detergent cup mildews

I have to put the clothes in just right. It has a storage cup for laundry detergent, but the cup gets mildewed and stinky. I have to leave the top open so it does not mildew. But, that was why I switched to the top loader because I did not have to leave the door open on my front loader!

Son loves doing laundry with this machine!

I originally didn't want a washing machine with bells and whistles. Now that ive had this washing for close to a month im very happy with it. On top of that,my son loves this machine and hes taken over doing 80% of the laundry. Thats a win in my book!
