Not worth the price

I was not impressed by it's performance. It's loud and because there's no agitator in the middle, it's always moving around during the spin cycle. I regret buying it. I have had it hooked up for a month and it already stopped working. It won't unlock or turn on. I tried to call Geek Squad at my local store but it just rang and rang so I'll just go there tomorrow.

Need new washer after owning for only 2 years

At the 2 year mark, the washer stopped in the middle of the cycle altogether and would not go into the spin cycle. Called a local tech to come and take a look and he told me that the control board needed replaced and the bearings were going bad and that the transmission would need replaced as well. He was shocked that it was only 2 years old and told me to avoid GE. So now we are replacing with a different washer altogether. Also to be noted, our matching dryer had issues within the first year of owning and luckily was covered under warranty at that time but, even now, it sounds terrible and makes a squeeling noise from time to time. I also had bought a GE dishwasher about a year and a half ago which is now having issues with leaks around the door. Just going to take that techs advise and avoid GE products in the future.

We have found that sometimes what causes the washer to go unbalanced is in the way it’s loaded. You will want to loosely add items around agitator or Infusor. Overloading may negatively impact wash performance. Spoon cycle is quieter than I thought it would be. Impeller is an excellent choice. There is much more room for clothing and they don't get twisted up like they would around an agitator. Very happy with this purchase.
