Need new washer after owning for only 2 years

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Washer started getting really loud during the spin cycle after about a year and a half of owning. At the 2 year mark, the washer stopped in the middle of the cycle altogether and would not go into the spin cycle. Called a local tech to come and take a look and he told me that the control board needed replaced and the bearings were going bad and that the transmission would need replaced as well. He was shocked that it was only 2 years old and told me to avoid GE. So now we are replacing with a different washer altogether. Also to be noted, our matching dryer had issues within the first year of owning and luckily was covered under warranty at that time but, even now, it sounds terrible and makes a squeeling noise from time to time. I also had bought a GE dishwasher about a year and a half ago which is now having issues with leaks around the door. Just going to take that techs advise and avoid GE products in the future.

Have only had it for one week, but have run multiple loads. The settings are intuitive and cover all the uses we can throw at it. The bottom of the basin is indeed reachable, ever for shorter people. Quality machine, would recommend it.
