The towel setting is not great for towels, you have to use bulky or the water doesnt drain. Water doesnt evenly sprad through the load and you can fill tub to the capacity or it gets thrown pff balance. No need for a deep, large tub if it cant handle the loads.

Posted .The Towels and Bulky are similar cycles. It is fine to use whatever cycle works best for you. We do recommend that you select the Deep Fill so that you can have the most water for the cycle. All GE Appliances washer tubs move freely within our exclusive auto balance suspension system. It is a rod and spring floating suspension, designed to withstand extensive out of balance situations without the need for an "out of balance" switch.
During an out of balance load, the basket is allowed to "float" forward and backward, side to side, and up and down, yet it never touches the floor nor is it even connected to the floor. As a result, the clothes basket can move freely, and this is normal. If you continue to have issues, please take advantage of your warranty and reach out to Bodewell Service by calling 1-833-4BODEWELL (833-426-3393)

Posted .We want to help go over the sound level you are noticing with your washer. We first recommend checking that your unit is completely level to the ground. This will help prevent out of balance conditions from occurring and reduce extra sounds. You can level the washer, adjust the leveling legs by rotating the individual leg in the proper direction for up or down. We recommend checking our article titled "Top Load Washer - Noises Heard During Agitation" located on our GE Appliances website in the support section. This article has a list of sounds that are normal to notice.

There is a helpful chart on page 8 of the use and care manual that we can link here- https://content.syndigo.com/asset/0e2ba3f9-96f6-42c7-a046-156d07c867eb/original.pdf. That helps show in details how and when you use certain cycle selections on your unit. There is also some troubleshooting information in the manual if you need that as well.
