It died after seven years, but was a constant repair headache before that. I did a lot of research before deciding on the GE profile. Pros: Nice sized wash basin. Quick wash is a great feature for non soiled items. Seems to use less detergent and less water without sacrificing utility. Cons: VERY loud. Like, unnecessarily loud. Regardless of spin speed, it spins hard and I've found the washer moved several inches across the floor after (which prompted me to then buy the extended warranty). Overall, average washer. Probably wouldn't repurchase if given another opportunity.

Adjust all four leveling legs until washer is level left-to-right and front-to-back. If the issues with the sound level and movement continue, please call GE Appliances Service at 1-800-432-2737 to schedule an appointment to have it checked by a factory trained technician.
Best Buy delivery is terrible.

They had the washer on it's side in the truck which damages the bearings, couldn't haul away my old machine for a week and left the giant box in my driveway. Washer seems nice but the delivery/haul away was a major FAIL.

Here are some tips to help prevent clothing from getting tangled, knotted or twisted in your Top Load Washer. Avoid mixing heavier weight items with lighter weight items. Avoid putting too many or too few items in the washer. Make sure you set the proper water level for the load size you are doing. Downside is if you are short, like my wife, getting things out of it at the bottom can be a bit challenging! It’s definitely deep! It also holds a ton of water so watch your water bill.

My previous was a front load washer & after this purchase I totally prefer the top load. With 9 kids in the house my laundry days a heavy!! The large load capability really helps. It can't sense how much laundry is in the machine. The water level never matches the need. If you need 6 inches of water it provides 2. If you press the extra water button it fills the entire tub. Too much water. The extra water button only works on some programs. Too many programs, choices. Why? The bottom impeller was the idea of a someone with no IQ. If there is 2 inches of water the clothes will ride the impeller like a cat on a Roomba. Useless. If the clothes are mid water or floating there is no scrubbing. Useless. With the tub rotating in one direction and the impeller in the opposite nothing happens to the clothes. Useless. They just vibrate with no scrubbing. The machine will go into pause whenever it feels like it. This is not a smart machine as advertised. If it is please give me the dumb one. If you try to wash a quilt all that happens is it turns into a mushroom. Air floats it to the top where as usual nothing happens. GE should be sued for false advertising. Bait and switch. I cannot leave the machine, always have to watch it because it cannot be trusted to perform as advertised. Waste of time. Waste of electricity. Waste of water. I find my clothes get very clean when I throw them in the bathtub and take a shower. Kick and stomp and rinse plus clean myself. That is efficiency. This thing is just a tub of scrap metal. Kenmore, Amana and Maytag all make mechanical washers which I am looking to buy. I can't think of anyone I hate enough to give this to them. Off to scrap metal I guess. Needed improvements. Trash the mother board and install mechanical knobs. I can make all the decisions and more intelligently. Trash the impeller and install a true agitator.

Quick, lots of room and bonus that if you download the app, it will notify you if you clothes have been sitting in the washer for more than 30 minutes. Zero complaints! Our last washer would often times soak our clothes and blankets and give an error code. This washer we can wash bulk items without any issue.
